I used to love this restaurant, but I am so disappointed in my experience today. Overpriced and low quality food. I was craving babaganoush on my Sunday stroll and thought I'd pop in. The most basic eggplant dip is $15 - and to get vegetables they add $5. Look at the attached picture - it's literally tiny slices of cucumber, beets, and carrots. $5 for that??? $15 for this tiny serving of eggplant dip. The French 75 was delicious and appropriately priced at $15. I was even more upset that when I sat down and the waitress asked if I wanted water and what kind of water - they did not make it clear they were charging me $7, FOR WATER. All in all for a small appetizer and drink it was $50 - over inflated prices for small portions. I can buy babaganoush for $4 at the grocery store.

I've been to this restaurant a few times over the year and always enjoyed their food - but I'm not sure if I'll be back.

From the food to the ambiance, this place exceeded my expectations. Everything was beyond delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the aesthetic made the experience even better. A must-visit!

I was looking for something healthy. I chose the Epice Salad with goats cheese, apricots, almond slivers and balsamic vinaigrette with Baramundi fish. Excellent choice!! The fish was very fresh as well as everything on the salad. I prefer red wine and chose the Red Blend from Lebanon. Again, an excellent choice. If you're looking for clean, fresh, delicious food, try Epice!! C'EST MANIFIQUE!!!

Epice is a friendly, vibrant Lebanese bistro/restaurant at the edge of a very, very busy street in Nashville (12th Avenue)- you may have to search for a nearby parking spot although on Friday night around 6 pm it was not too hard. The restaurant is very cozy and the owner and servers are very friendly. For the main dishes, we had the lamb shank (a version of a French cassoulet) and Sayaday (an aromatic grilled fish). Both were excellent, and as expected the lamb shank was very hearty while the fish was delicate- if you share the two plates, start with the fish!. For appetizers, we shared the hummus (good), the Arnabeet (crispy cauliflower, excellent) and the Spinash Fatayer (very good). The owner guided us toward an excellent red wine from the South of France, which was outstanding and, if not cheap, at least reasonably priced). We have been at Epice several times over the past few years and the experience has always been excellent- needless to say, we will come back!

The service and atmosphere is great! But I am Lebanese and the food has nothing to do with Lebanese food. It was very off! I really wish I could talk to the chef. It was such a disappointment for my husband and I. All the recipes are wayyyy wayyy off! I grew up in Lebanon and Egypt, and my family is Lebanese. To give an example, the fattoush is way off, nothing like the actual fattoush Lebanese salad, the mana2eesh are not mana2eesh at all! They are more like a mediocre pizza. This not like how you make a mana2eesh dough (there is a special oven) and the kind of cheese they used is off (wrong), they should use akawi. The zaatar should just be plain zaatar. We ordered Shish Tawook. The spices used are very off too. Please don’t call it Lebanese. You can call it inspired by Lebanese but from someone Lebanese, you will be very disappointed.
