Great place to meet friends or a client. It has a classy environment with great options for appetizers or a full entree. Valet your vehicle, take in the hotels decor, walk to the right and get ready for an experience.

oh my GOSH!!! this place is such a gem! my boyfriend and i loved everything about this place. we saw a post on reddit about the s'mores cheesecake and just had to go! the drinks: 10/10 the corn riblets with brown sugar butter: 10/10 the entrees??? yummyyy 10/10 specifically the scallops but that short rib. yes yes and yes. and the dessert?? heavenly. absolute gold. 12/10
but the best part of it was the service. SHAKARI was amazing!! her spirit was so fun and lively. she was so knowledgeable and kind to us and i literally felt like we were her only table (we werent) she was so on top of it even during prime dinner time on a friday night. i get anxious ordering at restaurants and she made it so easy for me. loved her so so much. she did EVERYTHING right! ?? we got so lucky getting her as our waitress and obviously the rest of the staff assisting in dinner service was phenomenal. :))

Had Sunday brunch here, and it did not disappoint. Husband had the apple tart; came with preserves and whipped cream. He said it was fantastic. I had the pumpkin French toast; brioche with spiced pumpkin, spiced cream cheese, and pumpkin seed pralines. It was amazing!

This place was bad. It’s a shame because the atmosphere is cute and classy, and not crowded on a Friday night in nashville (now I know why). We waited way too long for our food in an empty restaurant and when it finally came out, it was cold and disappointing. The scallops were so salty and overcooked I could barely eat them. The short rib was cold and flavorless. The shrimp scampi was gross. If you’re gonna go somewhere for dinner and spend a decent amount of money, skip this place and spend your money elsewhere.

Evelyn's is a diamond in the rough. We took our daughter and her two Vanderbilt friends to Evelyn's after Vanderbilt beat Alabama. It was a beautiful night and the windows were open, which gave our visit an outdoor feel and a great view of the football goal post floating down West End Avenue. The restaurant is elevated from the street, which keeps the outdoor feel private and also gave us a great view of the ecstatic student body.

Our dinners included the sea bass, risotto and chicken. Everything was beautifully prepared and seasoned and if there is one critique it is that the server kept our expectations low. Each plate was filled with a plethora of complimentary proteins, sauces and starches that was tasty and filling. We all had dessert and the sundae was the winner but the apple dumpling was excellent too.

The tables and booths at Eveleyn's are not on top of each other and we were not rushed out. The bar scene looked good too. Bottom line Evelyn's offers great atmosphere and food where you may not expect it directly on West End Avenue. Enjoy!

My husband and I came here our first night in Nashville and had a great experience. The food was top notch; our favorite was the ribbed corn with brown sugar and butter. But truly everything we got was delicious…. so we came back the next night for more!

The ambiance is cozy yet refined. Our waiters over both days- Marcel ,
Chakari and Mary- were all friendly and knowledgeable about the menu!

Even if you don’t stay at the Hutton Hotel I do think you should try Evelyn’s once on this trip.

Casey and Steven are incredible staff. They handled a difficult situation with grace. They made incredible cocktails. They made us feel comfortable. 10/10 they both deserve a raise.

My server, Mari, was amazing! Extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu! Food was delicious as well. I had the biscuits and gravy and both the biscuits and the sausage gravy were delicious.

Our waitress, Mary, did an excellent job while even orienting a new waitress (also did a great job). They were attentive, helpful, and friendly. We much enjoyed the food. We will return as we live nearby. Thank you

Service was very slow, we didn't mind too much because we were talking with each other but just wanted to note it. I got the shrimp scampi and the portion of pasta was pretty small for the price
