Evergreen Express Chinese Restaurant

I walked in and noticed I was the only white guy there, the nice lady sat me down ordered for me....those few things instantly told me this place was going to be great. It was more than excellent!!! Best Chinese noodle soup I've ever had. Especially in Nashville. The Boa Buns were perfect. This place reminded me of what I dreamed of Po's family noodle shop on Kung Fu Panda would be like in real life. Warm wholesome comfort food, and a very friendly environment. I will be back very soon.

The owner was super sweet and helped us with the menu, food was great. Reminded me of Pho but Chinese instead.

Absolutely incredible! The menu at Noodle Essence may be small, but it doesn’t need to be big — every single dish is perfection. Their noodles and bao buns are out of this world — the texture and flavor are off the charts! You can tell they’ve put real care into every bite. The people here are also so friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. If you love amazing noodles and great vibes, this is the spot.

Sweet little hand pulled noodle spot. Simple menu with a few items. The restaurant was full but our food came quickly, was fresh and delicious, the staff was kind, and the atmosphere was chill. An excellent family establishment. We split a single combo (soup plus one tea egg and one side) between two adults and a toddler.

Great food, and their take out bag is really cute, and everything was packaged so well. I have no complaints.

we enjoyed a nice stir fry of noodles with chicken, beef and shrimp. Service was solicitous but not intrusive. We will return to Noodle Essence..
