Had such high hopes for this place and unfortunately left highly disappointed. The aesthetic is pretty, cramped, but pretty. Our drinks were good and that was it! They were out of a few food items we ordered, the waiters were confused…constantly bringing us other people’s orders and vice versa. Bumping into each other it was very chaotic. The food was a flop, not a drop of seasoning. & unfortunately after we placed our entrees we NEVER saw our waiter again! We had to ask someone else for our checks. I wouldn’t bother trying this place.

We had family visiting from out of state, and Zuzu made Nashville shine. The table was spotless, the drinks perfectly chilled, and the food flawless. Compliments came from everyone at the table.

Every plate looked like art. I couldn’t stop admiring how clean and perfectly arranged everything was. My mother absolutely loved her filet and I was a fan of the sushi and nigiri.

Zuzu isn’t just a restaurant it’s a whole experience. The staff glided around like a perfectly rehearsed performance. We only had time for sushi, but will return for a full dinner.

Great atmosphere. Recommend. Only thing they may lack a bit in is overall space. But otherwise it’s a great time.

Dinner: 11/8/2025… We had an 8:30 PM reservation and were seated at 8:40 which was cool. Service was slow and Zuzu wasn’t packed — no one ever asked if we wanted another drink.
I ordered the Peking BBQ Beef Rib, but they were out. Tried to get the Tempura Sweet Corn Kakiage — also out. Ended up with the Shino Tone Filet (which was good) and Zuzu Rice, but the rice never came. Three sides were also missing from other guests from our party, and the waitress never apologized..
Now we have the fire alarm/emergency lights, flickering on/off at 10:19 PM, and the restaurant filled with the smell of burnt food. Their restaurant manager approached our table and firmly stated that he couldn’t detect any burning smell. Emergency lights went off, and the staff acted like it was normal. The DJ stopped playing, and our food didn’t arrive until 10:26 PM — nearly an hour after ordering.
To add insult to injury, our waitress rolled her eyes when my wife requested another drink. Later, we overheard her arguing with the manager, her telling the manager to stop yelling at her.
After three hours, missing food, and paying for a BABYSITTER, we finally got the bill at 11:01 PM. Easily one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had.

WE chose Zuzu to host our work place mile stone and were treated to a master class in dining. Staff was hands on from before we even set foot in the door. Amazing attention to detail.
