Food is served fresh and hot with southern hospitality. Great atmosphere. Love the chicken and fixings. Barbecue is old fashioned smoked plate of deliciousness. We used to have work lunches here for a treat.
A very pleasant experience. Food was absolutely excellent. The catfish had a Cajun batter which wakes up and enhances the flavor. The slaw was excellent as were the beans with bar-b-que pork. The cornbread muffin was very good and a good compliment to the meal. The only draw back was the tarter sauce. The tarter sauce was overpowered with Cajun seasoning. A plain tarter sauce would have been a better choice as you already have Cajun seasoning on the fish.
Beware of anything that has the word "WILLY'S" in front of or near it.....it means pretty darn ? HOT. Yet if ya like hot stuff, then order that. I had the 3 meat sampler, and it was fabulous; they do not carry their "greens" anymore, though just slaw, beans, fries, are you side choices ===ALL CARBS to go with meats. It was soo delicious, though.

Edit: Food has taken an absolute nose dive. Pretty sure my "Texas brisket" was microwaved. Mashed potatoes were like soup. Food was mostly dry.Service was friendly, but they were short staffed. Didn't get a chance to ask for a refill.I won't be coming back unfortunately. It was great while it lasted.-----------Great service, but I come for the catfish fingers. They are life changing.

We enjoyed Erin’s amazing service. She had no idea that this was our first sit down meal outside of my mom’s hospital stay. The level of care and kindness shown was second to none. Thank you for being the best part of Famous Dave’s we will definitely be back because of her stellar service!!
We just moved here from Illinois. We ordered a bomb tasten Nashville hot grilled cheese and a macaroni and cheese grilled cheese and it was succulent. Oh the management when we got to the restaurant was over the top the waiter was right on. The sweet tea is so delicious. It was ridiculous. We had some cornflakes mac & cheese balls. Those were good too. Excellent excellent excellent woman manager. I appreciate everyones customer service. We were a little difficult. We thank you guys and we’ll see you guys again very soon. We did a dine out takeout yesterday and we did a dine in today.

My first time ordering thru Door Dash and my husband's order was completely left out. Famous Dave's offered to make a new one if we wanted to go pick it up but I, of course, didn't do that because I couldn't, which is why we ordered delivery to begin with and unfortunately Famous Dave's couldn't give a credit so I had to call DoorDash to order refund. By the time I got off the phone, my meal was cold. It was a confusing mess! Probably won't do this again. ?

Gave it another try after several years. Still not good. The small scoop of chopped pork was probably 1/3 fat globs. The three catfish fingers were mostly batter. The Mac and cheese with corn was weird and not worth the up-charge. The coleslaw and sweet cornbread muffin were the only things that were really good. You can find better barbecue at literally any itger barbecue place in the area.
