Kinda love this place! It's one of the few places left in the village that is an OG from my teen years. The village used to be a place you could spend hours studying, hanging out with friends, getting to know people at the next table, and this place still has that feeling. The food is good, it's just gotten to be expensive to the point that if I stop in, I end up only getting a coffee or tea. Most items are around $15, toast alone is $4. Stick to the drinks lol

Fido has changed. They’re menu changed and plates shrunk. The breakfast burrito now has chedder cheese???? And no potatoes on the side. Coffee still is great but food changes are meh. Also bring back the cholula hot sauce.

Favorite shop for over 25 years. Yes i am a Nashville unicorn. If you’re visiting the city don’t fall for the selfie trap cafes. They’re not worth it we have already gone. Fido is the best people, coffee and viiiibe. My favorite table is the black two-top outside the door ;)
Today our team hosted a Continued Education event for clinicians at Fido, and it went seamlessly. The cost for renting the event space was extremely feasible, and the food and service were outstanding. Alma, the employee I corresponded with to set up the event, was very timely with email responses and made the process so easy. I would highly recommend Fido for an event space!

What happened to this place??? This was always a favorite among the locals. Stopped in for breakfast and was HUGELY disappointed. Bacon was limp and greasy. Biscuit looked frozen, cooked yesterday, and reheated today. Completely inedible. $40 for two to eat diner food. Stick to the coffee and find your food elsewhere.

We use to love the breakfasts there for years. The grilled red potatoes were delicious as was the dishes, served warm. Last few times we’ve noticed the food and service isn’t the same. The breakfast potatoes are now French fries. Overcooked scrambles with large chunks of raw onions, less feta. Toast is cold and only toasted on one side….very disappointing. Coffee is about the only quality item on the menu which is still good.
