From out of town, so obviously have to find a coffee shop for the roadtrip back. Atmosphere was great and the baristas were even better, providing recommendations and overall just very helpful and kind! Definitely adding to the list for whenever we are back!

Both the food & coffee are mediocre here. It is overpriced. It is also very cold & uncomfortable in here if you can’t get one of the booths at the front.. which there are only a few. I’d spend your time & money elsewhere.

Good place to make a music video for music legend Bernie Leadon 😀

Fido cafe is such a cool spot with a wonderful atmosphere, a brunch the whole group loved, and our experience was made absolutely magical by Alma! She didn't just serve us, she brightened my entire birthday with her infectious energy and warmth.
Alma shared some info about Taylor Swift's early Nashville days at the cafe, which fed my Swiftie soul. She even busted out a dance move and just made the whole visit feel like a celebration all for a stranger. And that birthday cookie? The GIANT cinnamon roll? Delicious! Can't recommend this place (and Alma!) enough. 💛✨
Ps as a Swiftie, learning more about this cafe's connection made it even more special. Looks like it might close in a few years, would be such a loss. Hope someone's (🫶) paying attention to keep this place alive!

My sister, niece & nephew flew into Nashville from Japan and Fido was her spot when our family lived here ~24yrs ago. We requested to have space for a group, and the manager Alma accomodated our group perfectly. The food, drinks, and service were all amazing. Aaron & Anna also helped to make this experience great for all of us. Every time we come back, Fido is always just as good as we remembered when we lived here.
Thanks to the team for taking good care of us today.
All the Blessings.🙏

This place used to be one of my favorites as a Vanderbilt student. Recently, they have reduced portion sizes (they were already small), use worse ingredients (different sausage, etc.), and their prices are still very high especially considering how little food you get. I still come every once in a while but what used to be a staple for me is no longer a great breakfast spot.

Fido continues to be one of the best places to get a breakfast and a great cup of coffee at a reasonable price in Nashville. Still has the old coffee house vibe that I know and love from the early nineties..

Fido was one of my go-to spots in my early years in Nashville. Now that I'm back in town, I'm glad I get to celebrate it a little bit longer before its close. I do miss the old menu, though.
Fingers crossed they bring back the classic muffins, huevos rancheros, and turkey+brie+pesto sandwich from the old days before Fido's gone for good!
SAUSAGE!
fido is known for incredible coffee and a wonderful bakery selection. You can’t go wrong with those pop tarts or cinnamon roll by the way. Today I had a spinach feta braid, which was excellent. but the breakfast plate with the eggs (which were cooked to perfection) the home fries, which were delicious and addicting was complemented by sausage patties, which are the stuff of which dreams are made. The flavor, the portion…. I’m telling you grab a side of sausage patties with whatever you order.

Stopped in for lunch and everything was delicious. I had the biscuit and gravy with scrambled eggs and potatoes, plus a side of bacon. The gravy had a kick to it that I absolutely loved, and the bacon was cooked perfectly—crispy but not burnt. I also grabbed an iced chai tea latte to go, and it was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Great food, fast service, and a fun vibe. Don’t miss out on this super cute spot. Bring your laptop, get some work done, and enjoy some quality people-watching while you’re at it.
