Labor issues in kitchen. Salmon was grossly overcooked. Chicken Alfredo barely passed as edible. Go to the brewpub across the street. Excellent southern food.

Five Odd Fellows is an awesome gastropub in the Embassy Suites hotel. The staff is the best! They are there for your hotel gastropub needs… ie drinks, food, and entertaining conversation.(Evan) And at the right times you’ll get to meet some entertainers passing through Nashville. And if you’re lucky enough share some drinks with them. I recommend Five Odd Fellows for evening night caps and food it you don’t feel like going out.

Absolutely excellent in every regard. Evan is especially outstanding. I came here for an entire year while in a program at Vanderbilt and Five Odd Fellows was a consistent spot for great drinks, service, and friendly Nashville culture. Thank you to Evan and all the rest of your staff for making my Nashville experience. Easy 5 stars.

This place is in the Embassy Suites in downtown Nashville. This was a quick and easy stop for us to grab some food and have a drink.

We and our friends came in to Nashville during late afternoon and decided to stay in the hotel and eat. The menu is pretty simple and had nothing elaborate. My wife and our friends orders the chicken and pasta and ordered the BBQ ribs. The ribs were supposed to come with French fries and Cole slaw but the server said they were out of FF and I could have house made chips to which I agreed, there wasn't any other choice. When the food came the chicken and pasta dish was not edible and they all turned it back. The ribs came with chips and cold canned beans dumped in a bowl. The server explained that the Cole slaw was bad and they had to throw it away so they had some beans. I shared my ribs and chips with the others so they had something to eat. No one ate the beans. Apparently there have been some staffing problems which I totally understand but you could order take out food and bring it in and do better than this. This is a Hilton property but certainly not up to Hilton standards. If you can't perform to the standard don't provide a bad experience to customers. I feel bad for the staff who have to work in this situation. They should not be the ones that have to explain these things to the customers.

We decided to try the hotel restaurant for our last night in town and were pretty disappointed. The food was ok (but came in plastics Tupperware type containers). The worst part by far was the service. With about five people at the bar and us being the second table to sit for food, the sole waitress was very overwhelmed. With it being spring break, you would think they would have more people on staff than one. We tried to help out by getting our own menus while we waited. The other couple who had been sitting there joked because they hadn't gotten theirs either so I got them some too. When it came time for a refill, I took it up to the bar to help her out. I was ignored and then finally she said she would be right there. Then she ignored me another 10 mins or so while she helped others and got refills for other guest. I finally went back to my table which caused her to come running over. I wish we picked a different resturant for our last night of vacation.

I am so glad we did not let the bad reviews scare us away. My husband and I are at the Embassy Suites for a celebratory weekend and wanted a quiet place to dine. Our server, Keith (I hope I have his name right!) was attentive and friendly.I enjoyed the kale and beat salad and my partner had the fish and chips. The food was fresh and flavorful and we we're both satisfied.
