Good food. Reasonable prices, quality service. We enjoyed our meal here and it was walking distance to our hotel.

#fatjared say... very pleasant surprise with the quality of food at this place. If I was in the neighborhood I would definitely go back! For most people with experience that I had it would be five stars. However, the way I review is it has to be absolutely perfect for me to give five stars because five stars on yelp is the best that you could be. Flatiron was amazing... But it was not perfect. My complaints are the menu itself and the French toast. The menu did not seem to have enough variety to truly qualify as a brunch... The French toast sticks were a little gooey on the inside and you could tell it was basic loaf bread... And when I had a special request for the tacos he said that was not possible to have 1 be breakfast and one be lunch (with blackened fish). Now to the great stuff! Even though the tacos could not be both breakfast and lunch they were incredible! This restaurant excels in their sauces. Everything was definitely made fresh on the tacos and you could tell that there was a lot of thought to make a good cohesive bite! The pepper jack burger was by far the best of the meal. Another great sauce good spice to the burger perfectly cooked soft bun great fries you can't get much better! To restate what was said in the beginning this place is totally worth it food wise and I would come back! Not perfect but a lot of fun!

Flatiron has one of the BEST happy hours in Nashville! $5 for everything on the happy hour menu. I found that the portion sizes of the bites were great and you can easily get two for a whole meal. The draft beer selection is great and the rotating HH cocktail is a fun touch. Flatirons location in midtown is also amazing- right next to all the Midtown bars but has a laid back and relaxed atmosphere. It's the perfect place to grab a drink and bite to eat before heading to explore the midtown bar scene!

Took a client to dinner here, for Nashville it's an easy spot to get to and find parking. The atmosphere is great, felt like upscale casual. They have a good selection of local beer options as well as mixed drinks. The food was spot on, I had the pork chop and Brussel sprouts, it was delicious!

Squeezed us in at the last moment for dinner and the food was phenomenal! Our serve was awesome and we couldn’t have asked for a better dinner & the drinks were so good! Definitely recommend the crispy tortellini!!

Had a quick bite at the bar and was quite pleased. Pimento cheese deep fried may have taken a couple of years off my life, but they were worth it!

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Flatiron. Our waiter was wonderful and the manager even stopped by to see how we enjoyed our meal and she was so friendly. We dined during happy hour and the bar was buzzing but we opted to enjoy our dinner in the main dining area. You must try the goat cheese appetizer topped with roasted vegetables and served with pita bread. It was incredible. The serving is ample, enough to share with several people. We also enjoyed the salmon and fish and chips. The French fries topped with malt vinegar powder were some of the best we've ever eaten. When we visit Nashville again, we'll definitely eat here again.

Whipped goat cheese appetizer was great! It was served cold except the pita was warmed. Service was great, very attentive. The rest of the food was good but not anything memorable. Would come back but probably not my first choice.

I was visiting for a special event with my friends, dressed up and looking forward to a great meal. waitress was inattentive and rude to my friend. her espresso martini tasted horrible (they use espresso syrup not espresso) so we kindly asked if they had baileys or kalua to add. she said they didn't and proceeded to ask in a condescending tone "well have you ever had an espresso martini before? just curious" my friend has had many and was very put off by the attitude. she then went up to the bar to see for herself what could be done and the bartender told her they had both kalua and baileys, contrary to what the waitress said. because the waitress saw this exchange, she sent the manager with a new cocktail because I think it was clear that she messed up. she then proceeded to make us feel rushed and unwanted by saying "if you need to leave for your event let me know" in a very serious tone. after this, she basically stopped coming by our table and I had to ask other employees for condiments. one employee was walking around and I asked her but she just stood at this table away from me expecting me to talk to her from far away rather than coming to our table. I understand she was cleaning a table but when paying this much for food and clearly having a special occasion, it felt rude. at the end of dinner she informed us we would be automatically charged a gratuity for our party of 6, making it feel like her behavior was the result of not working for a tip. she then asked the 2 straight couples if they were paying together and assumed me and my female date were not paying together. I know this was probably not meant poorly but it could be very hurtful to someone. overall, i didn't feel like the service equated to the price of the food and drinks. i wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone, especially with an event to celebrate. the only good part of our food was the crispy tortellini. 3 of us got the fish and chips that tasted completely bland. the fries were delicious so I don't know how they got the batter on the fish so wrong. I had to load it with salt and vinegar to add any bit of flavor. another friend ordered the pork chop and said it was good. there are many better restaurants in nashville so there's really no reason to come here. the location and aesthetic inside is alright if everywhere else is full.

This place needs help. I was there tonight for happy hour and it couldn't have been a more unhappy experience. The chicken skewers I ordered were nothing more than greasy deep fried chunks of tough chicken sitting on top of more greasy fries. The remoulade sauce tasted like a bad attempt at honey mustard dressing. Disgusting. The vodka tonic was okay and nothing more. The best part of the experience was the server who did her part well. But this eatery needs major help in devising an interesting menu with items that sound good and are actually pleasing to the palate.

Love the location! There are streets surrounding you and lots of windows. Midtown is very cool. I ordered the Fish Tacos and fries and they were very good. Big pieces of Blackened Mahi Mahi with good flavor. The seasoning or batter on the fries made them crispy and delicious and set them apart from what you get everywhere. The menu has a little bit of something for everyone but nothing really exiting or out of the ordinary. I would like to go back mostly for the atmosphere and great service.
