Cool Dump with a lot of History Off the beaten path, just a few minutes from the touristy pit of Broadways hell sits a little known gem. Just want to be in a good place where the atmosphere is friendly and laid back? No overbearing KJs with their downtown rules and unfair skipping. No turning down songs here. Sam tries his best to make everyone feel their best. Trina will take care of the entire bars needs. Just watch her go. Really good sound, compared to other big venues downtown. I wont name any names. Do yourself a favor and stop by. Speaking strictly as a local who avoids downtown and obnoxious college Thanks

My BFF and I were just there today (Oct 30). This place was really cool. The owner Fran was very sweet and kind, amazing to chat with, and had the cheapest beer in town! The place has some great pictures of artists who have played there, Nicole Kidman had a photo shoot there, and it’s home to an old originals cat tapestry.

What a fun atmosphere! We went all around Nashville and didn't find energy like this! Wish we would have came earlier, we would have saved a lot of money and had a much better time here. Was an eclectic crowd for sure but man they knew how to have a good time. This is more of a local spot.

This is the most no-frills dive bar I've maybe ever been too.Nothing on tap, nothing in terms of ambiance.However, it's still a lot of fun.You'll see lots of ambitious singers. By ambitious I mean: people that are really giving it their all but...aren't insulting good at singing. These are just normal folks that like to croon...and rap.And, luckily, the prices here match the lack of frilliness. It's cheap.

I came into Nashville and worked one day. I get paid daily and was on a very tight budget. I went to Fran's and had two Bud Lights and a cheeseburger. The bill was $8. I gave a $2 dollar tip and put $5 in the jug to help pay for somebody's funeral expenses I don't even know. I found my trip there to be more than reasonably priced.
