I have loved Frothy Monkey for all of my 11 years in Nashville, but this location is my favorite. Great food, coffee and atmosphere. I had the most uplifting service today with Brettlynn who was not only awesome with efficient service but brought a smile to my face and so many others I could see at tables around me. What a gem!

The iced latte with oat milk was a 5/5. The coffee was strong and prepared with a perfect coffee to oat milk ratio. I had the The Be Hive Mash which is vegan but for me was 4/5. It was very delicious but I did not like the vegan sausage very much. I should have substituted the vegan sausage for the portobello mushroom. With the portobello mushroom the dish would be a 5/5 and I would totally recommend. The restaurant atmosphere was great like a nice chill and cool coffee shop. I would definitely return to try the dish with the portobello mushrooms. The service was fantastic. Great parking.Vegetarian options: The Be Hive Hash Substitute Vegan sausage for Portobello Mushroom

Since when are reservations required for coffee shops? I walk into a coffee shop... Walk over to an empty table, and then have this lady come over and tell me I have to get out because it's reservations only!!! Supposedly whoever is sitting at that table has gone outside...Seriously?East Nashville is just becoming complete trash.IT'S A COFFEE SHOP FOLKS

I came in with my two toddlers to get breakfast. I tried to sit out of the way because I know I bring chaos with two kids, but by sitting out of the way (in the corner), I was virtually ignored by the staff the whole time I was there. I ordered 2 cookies, a coffee, and a breakfast sandwich. The server immediately forgot which cookies I ordered so needed to come ask. I was brought my coffee, which was fine, not anything out of this world. And then I proceeded to wait there for 25 minutes for my sandwich, which was *never* ordered in the kitchen. I couldn’t get up to ask for it, because I couldn’t leave my kids at the table. And a server never came by to ask if I needed anything or give me my bill. So I sat there waiting while my kids got more and more antsy. Eventually I made eye contact with my server who brought me my bill with just the two cookies and coffee on it. And when I asked if my sandwich was coming, she acted like she’d placed the order and said, “let me check if it’s up yet” even though she just gave me a bill without it on there?? She still never came back to the table after that, so I left cash on the table and had to leave without the sandwich. On my way out, I told the guy at the front that it was terrible service (I clearly needed help with being on my own with my kids, and no one helped me), and he just smirked and said “sounds good.” Terrible service and not family friendly! Also the servers are forgetful and unkind. Do not recommend.

Loved everything about this place! Good coffee selection and delicious. Bakery was wonderful and fresh (chocolate croissant to die for!!) and full menu (my omelet was healthy and yummy). Reasonably priced, safe neighborhood coffee shop/restaurant, be prepared to wait on a Saturday morning with the neighbors!!!

The service is great. I don't want to discount that. The ambience is a bit of an "elevated eats" kind of place, which is fine. The food however has been not good from the multiple times I've eaten there. It's too focused on being different than it is good. Avocado toast with sourdough bread sounds great, until the sourdough comes out tough and burnt. Huevos rancheros sounds great, until it comes out with two uncooked corn tortillas and avocado. Biscuits and gravy sounds great, until it comes out with one biscuit, eggs(?), and a gravy that's basically cheese sauce with peppers and onions in it. Just stick to the basics. It'd probably be much better that way.

Great place to get some work done. They have table service, but don't mind that most people seem to linger to do work or

The coffee didn't impress me. The pastry I got also didn't impress me. The person behind the counter was super nice and we had a little banter back and forth. We had to wait 15 minutes just to get takeaway coffee. To be fair it was very busy in there but still.. it's a coffee shop it shouldn't take that long just for a takeaway coffee.Ps, it's kinda pricey.

We went to frothy monkey on a Wednesday night for "wine down Wednesday". Overall, the food was delicious - the pork Barbacoa was a big hit and the PMP and Betsy were great sandwiches. We did not get the wine flights, but the glasses of Syrah and Blanche were good the price. The staff was nice as always, just like during breakfast time. Look forward to going back and trying the wine flights.
