Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Our drinks were delicious, and the Bob Evans chicken was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was fabulous, and the Christmas decorations were on point.

This was our first visit and it was underwhelming. Christmas decor is gorgeous. Service is lacking , no pre bussing. Plates were dropped off and server didn't check back for a while. We could hear the expediter or some one on the cook line yelling every order which was not ideal- reminiscent of a Waffle House. Our dinner took a long time to be served, even though we were told to order all food at once for the timing of meals. The food was ok, sea bass was covered in sauce drowning the taste of the fish. Overall the entrees were overly complicated for no reason. This place has so much potential, it's a great location with great menu ideas - but for the price of the entrees , difficulty to get reservations, parking and subpar service - I will not be returning or recommending this restaurant to friends. I was disappointed, as we are new to Nashville, from Atlanta and the quest to find great , locally owned restaurants has certainly been a challenge.

We dined at Geist this past weekend and were blown away by the AMAZING Holiday decor! Even the bathroom ceiling was covered with ornaments. We shared several dishes recommended by our server and were not disappointed. The Bell Evens chicken was moist and tasty. The 2 handmade pastas were delicious. We were sad they had run out of the House Bread though. This place is a MUST SEE experience in Nashville.

Starting out with a positive! The Seabass and beef tenderloin were amazing!!! The potato and veggies were cold though! Over all the food was very good! On the not so positive side, Their website looks like they have multiple hot air balloon tables. They only have ONE! I booked a reservation for the hot air balloon but when we got there ( after an hour ride from Franklin in bad traffic) we were told we had a table in the garden. I didn't make a reservation for the garden. Also had to go to the bar and ask for drinks because we sat there for 20 mins and no one came to the table. The place is very nice but definitely false advertising

What made our experience exceptional was not only the delicious meals but our server, John, who gave 5-star service and really made our dining experience memorable.
