Was dying to come here since I have been to the original. Major disappointment, parking way overpriced, the food and cleanliness of the restaurant was awful. I can't even try to describe what we were served, failed to mention there were no mushrooms in the restaurant but heard another server tell a different table after we ordered. I would not recommend or ever return. Nashville has way to many other options save your money.

I am from Chicago and Gino's East Deep Dish is one of my favorite pizzas. After moving to the Nashville area, I was excited to see a Gino's East here. I will honestly say I was quite disappointed. Although it tasted like what I am used to, the texture was not there. The sauce was very watery and the cheese was not gooey or stringy at all. I am convinced that the pizzas and the sauce come from Chicago frozen, then thawed and then they add the toppings. I won't go there again.

Gino’s East in Chicago is a must visit for us multiple times while we’re in the Windy City. We were excited when we saw Nashville has a Gino’s East so we made a point to go there early on a Friday evening. We were seated, ordered drinks and then ordered two deep dish pizzas. We were told the deep dish takes approximately 45 minutes so the server suggested we get an appetizer if we’re hungry now. We ordered mozzarella sticks and garlic breadsticks. Waited, and waited, no apps. Questioned our server about them since we saw 3 tables near us get their pizza followed by their appetizers and he said they’ll be out any minute. To our expectations, the appetizers came out cold. Two minutes later our pizzas came out. The pizza was hot, and done as good as we expected from Gino’s. If the appetizers would’ve came out sooner, and fresh, it would’ve been a much better experience. I wouldn’t go out of my way to return to this location.

We visited during the Nashville Grand Prix, Bobby was our bartender/server/DJ of the afternoon. We had the spinach mozzarella sticks and a 9” deep dish meat pie. Both were delicious, and Bobby was very attentive and polite. Our only small gripe is the playlist was all Bryan Adams for over an hour ;) truthfully the pizza was great, the beer was nice and the company perfect. Patience and a good attitude go along way right now.

Not the place you return to, yet alone brag about. Verbally told our bill without being given or shown a receipt despite asking for one. Food was nothing special (spinach, basil, cherry tomato specialty pizza), and worse, was not cut. When requesting it be cut we were handed a spatula server type Utensil And expected to cut with it.

We were looking for a great pizza in Nashville, and my daughter is very demanding when she is looking for pizza. However, we were really lucky to find this place. The pizza is awesome and Julia the server was extremely helpful and courteous on every visit. We are going to visit this place every time we visit Nashville.

It's the best deep dish pizza ever. The crust is amazing the sauce has a great zip to it. And loads if cheese. I always loved Ginos east . Just hope the make roads to Florida we definitely need you there. I can't stand the gross new York pizza that we have there. You need to open in Florida. I told friends and family about it and Tampa and Daytona Beach and Orlando need a ginos east please......

Was looking for some great Italian style food and stumbled upon this gem. We had the mozzarella cheese sticks as an appetizer, chicken Alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs. It was all so good! The staff were super friendly and efficient, too. We will definitely be back for a deep dish pizza.

While this pizza is good it's a mess to eat. We got it carry out. We didn't get any plastic ware so we did what we could with our hands. The crust breaks immediately and there is way too much toppings which normally is a good thing. It also took forever for them to make. Don't order if you are super hungry like us!!

Placed an online order the night before for a 6:15pm pick up the next day. I was already 15 minutes late and arrived at 6:30pm only to be told the pizzas they made were not up to their standard and they were in the process of remaking them for us if we just waited 15 minutes. Our food was not ready for 50 minutes. I assume the kitchen didn't even start our order when we arrived at 6:30pm to pick it up. Wish they told us the truth up front. Giving this place 2 stars because in the end they gave us an extra pizza, dessert, free alcoholic drinks, and $20 off the order, but that did not remedy the fact we had 12 hungry and angry people waiting to be fed and we had to wait 50 minutes for our food past the pick up time.

The best tasting pizza in downtown Nashville! Friendly staff! Highly recommend!

Long wait. Rowdy crowds and tourists were the best part. Entertaining at least. Bobby at the bar was fun. I ordered my thin crust as an appetizer to my husband's thick crust. When I checked on it 30 mins after ordering they brought back "complimentary" cold cheese sticks. 20 mins after they brought out both pizzas. Both cold. (?) The bartender, not Bobby, asked how all tasted. We said good but cold. She said sorry. Enough said.

I love Chicago style deep dish pizza. I use to frequent the Gino’s in Chicago when I lived there. So when I looked out my hotel window and noticed there was a Gino’s across the street, I ordered a 9 inch meaty legend for lunch. The pie was generously filled with cheese, and a variety of meat. And the cornmeal crust was baked perfectly.

I chose this restaurant because it was one of the few dog friendly restaurants in Nashville and it was close to my hotel. I ordered a 9 inch deep dish pizza. I was not told up front how long that would take. What I received over an hour later was a 12 inch overcooked pizza. The owner wants to mansplain to me that sauce bubbling over is not overcooked, but I'm a baker and I know an overcooked bottom crust. My pizza was comped since it really was not edible (I really am not a picky eater at all, especially when I am hungry).I received the wrong size, it was overcooked, and it took longer than even they now say it should take. They prefer to continue to provide me with excuses, and not apologies. They haven't listened to me.

The food was acceptable however, the service was HORRIBLE. The staff barely acknowledged us as we waited patiently to be served. Once they took the order for drinks (same drink for everyone in our party), they forgot to serve us. It took two separate servers 20+ mins to realize that we were still waiting for drinks ? Same experience with the food. Our pizza came burned around the edges (blackened!) and uncooked in the middle. We left it mostly untouched. They should really take the time to train their staff on basic service industry etiquettes.
