Serving hot take out in black plastic contains is a known danger and should never be used.
Really shocked at how horrible this experience was. Came in for a very early dinner. Two adults and two toddlers. The staff clearly had no idea how to serve a table with children. Our server did not understand her own menu and I couldn’t order clearly. Evidently, no children’s menu. Server proceeded to bring bowls of hot soup and set them down in front of toddlers. When the main meals were served the server set a bowl of tempura dipping sauce in front of a toddler which was dumped over before either of us could even acknowledge the placement. Brought a toddler a gigantic cup of ice water with no lid. When we realized we were just gonna have to pack it up and take it to go, things got worse and that’s when we noticed the giant cockroach crawling across the floor

I got food poisoning from this restaurant over the weekend and have been trying to to resolve it privately for the last 3 days, during which they have been dodging my calls and telling me that a manager would call me at some point. After calling today they told me too much time has passed and I would not be able to get a refund.

Sticky table, dirty dining room. The food was cold, chewy and smothered in sauce. The waiter could barely speak English and didn’t know what he was doing. We told him we have a shellfish allergy. We ordered filet mignon hibachi and it came out with shrimp on it, and my bento box had crab in it. When trying to send it back, he was annoyed and brought it back minutes later. I questioned him about if they re-made it, but it seemed likely he just took off the shrimp and brought it back. We barely ate. Bill was over $100. Would never eat here again.

The worst sushi I have ever eaten, including grocery store sushi. Tuna was dried out and not fresh. Miso tasted like dishwater. Even the rice was terrible. Starchy and undercooked.

I thoroughly enjoy this restaurant consistently for date night. We always sit sushi side - so I can’t speak for the hibachi. The sushi is always impeccable and we usually have a the same server who is very attentive. I appreciate that they have a gluten-free soy sauce available at the sushi bar without asking.
Takeout does get backed up and the phone is always ringing. I know lots of people complain about wait times, but we’ve never had an issue when seating for dine-in.
Side note: I think they do a lot of business through Uber/Postmates and the drivers can get very very aggressive with staff when orders are delayed. Which is never fun to see and reflects so poorly on delivery apps. However, I do appreciate that the restaurants priority is the dine in guests.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Nashville! Love the hibachi! I'm not the biggest fan of shrimp but for some reason I really like the shrimp here. Go check it out!
The food was terrible! Meat was overcooked, sushi was dry, broth was disgusting. The only pleasant thing was the manager being for understanding about us not wanting to pay for the overpriced food. Took it off without much hassle. Still paid WAY to much for two dry as sushi platters and a $5 fountain dollar drink.

Very inconsiderate towards Uber Drivers consistently 20+ minute wait times forcing orders to get cold if this store is stacked with another restaurant nearby.
