Me and my girlfriend went to Gio’s last night for the first time and we ordered a pepperoni tavern pizza. I’m a huge fan of thin crust, and this is the best I’ve ever had! We came back this morning and ordered a pepperoni deep dish pizza and are just as obsessed with the deep dish as we are the tavern. The owners are very welcoming and extremely humble. I would definitely recommend Gio’s Chicago pizza over any in the Nashville area! We have found our new pizza place!

Ordered a thin crust pizza. Maybe we should have gotten deep dish. Fresh ingredients and tasty but the crust tasted like a frozen pizza and not homemade.

We didn't realize this was a ghost kitchen. I'm so glad they were ok with a walk in order. Phenomenal pizza. We had the sausage deep dish; house made sausage, crust was perfectly cooked, crisp and tender. The salad was fresh and dressed to perfection; not soggy or overwhelmed. This was the perfect last night dinner in Nashville. Highly recommend!

I googled tavern pizza and Gio's popped up. Great reviews so I decided to stop by. I was extremely early they open at 4pm. I texted the number on the door and a gentleman came outside and greeted me brought me into the kitchen and introduced me to Greg the owner. Greg is a nice fellow from Chicago it was great chatting with him 😁 I ordered tavern pizza half cheese half pepperoni and 5 wings The pizza is tasty I would prefer more sauce. The wings are good the sauce has a nice balance I'll definitely return to try the other style pizza Xoxo

Greg (the owner and head chef) is a cool dude who puts his heart and soul into his food. I've had deep dish and thin crust pizza, wings, beef sandwiches, and Chicago dogs made the right way. You'll get generous portions and feel greatly satisfied after devouring whatever you ordered. It's a true taste of Chicago right here in Nashville.

I hate to be that guy but after waiting 45 mins for a slice of pizza only to be told “sorry dude” by the guy running truck…and my dinner is burnt. Sorry not sorry!

They make pizza like I’m used to back home in Minnesota. I believe it’s their tavern style, also had a deep dish pizza which was also top notch. Definitely great pizza w/o going wood-fire or otherwise upscale
