Best taco truck I've ever been to. The sopes had amazing bread. Horchata was smooth and delicious. Pollo asado was smokey and perfect.

I went there when was not busy, food it's OK, cheap. it's located in a parking lot, like a drive thru, I got my order quick. they accept card as a payment or cash, you can order thru uber eats too, so I guess other food apps maybe work too...

This is a cute tiny place. Very small. The lady who served was was not from here, you could tell by her accent. She was actually kinda snobby. I had a sweet tea which was not very sweet. This is the south right where the tea is supposed to be sweet. I had biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage. The biscuit was rubbery, was not fresh. Cat head biscuit I don’t think so. Gravy was ok, eggs were over cooked and the sausage had a weird taste. The bathrooms are across the parking lot and you need a key. As I was paying, which is way over priced for what I ordered, I watched the cook, a girl, she was not wearing gloves. I also seen school aged kids in the kitchen.

It’s a small restaurant with very good service and food. Great views of the mountains while you’re eating. The older lady serving everyone was very kind and did a grat job seating everyone, taking orders and keeping drinks full. A little expensive, we paid about 85$ for two adults and three kids, but probably the same or cheaper than the restaurants in pigeon forge. Overall a get start to the day!

Expectations weren’t too high when we went in. Definitely blew that away. The French toast and meats were phenomenal. The server was prompt and friendly. The food was served in disposable bowls for the grits but they didn’t taste instant at all. Everything came out warm and fresh. Highly recommend!

The reviews on here made this place seem wonderful. Honestly the food was not good, Grits in a plastic bowl, tasted instant. Bacon undercooked, toast stale, eggs ok.Overpriced. The place was clean though and very cute. So if you’re not that hungry, you could just get water and a biscuit, they were like 3.00.

The food was ok at best. The service was horrible. We had a grouchy waitress who was rude and cared less if we had drinks or condiments. Asked for bbq sauce for the pulled chicken but never received it, she never got us drink refills. She definitely needed a hug or something to cheer her up.

We visited Grandmother's twice during our stay in Townsend...it was that good. Greeted quickly and seated. Drinks were delivered and we ordered. The breakfast came out as we ordered and it was truly delicious...their biscuits and gravy were hot, fluffy, and had a great taste. Eggs were done to order. Quality, quantity, and prices are really good. Can not wait to return.

Average is correct. I won't go back. We were there mid-November and the sign pulled us in. Food was OK and price was high. Our grandson ordered chicken nuggets and when they were delivered, I thought... wow, this must be a really baby kid price, because there was ONE nugget. Nope. Full price. Wasn't terrible....but you'd be better off with a pack of nabs or peanuts from a convenience store.

We, two couples, stopped on November 7 at 1:15 for lunch. 1. Walked in and stood for about 3 minutes. No one acknowledged we were there or to take a seat. My husband asked a couple seated if they seat you or what and he I would just sit down so we did. 2. Once we are seat about 2 minutes a grandmother waitress came and gave us menus. No words nothing. Did not ask what we wanted to drink nothing. 3. A group comes in and they were immediately acknowledged, seated, given menus, told the daily specials, and drink orders taken and brought. 4. Has not come to get our drink order or tell us the specials! 5. A couple comes in and they were immediately acknowledged, seated, given menus, told daily specials, and drink order taken and brought. 6. A mother and two teens come in, acknowledged, seated, given, menus, told daily specials and drink orders taken. At this time my husband ask if we can have our drink orders taken. No offering of SPECIALS. Takes our orders. One hamburger was suppose to have bacon. 6. The first two groups have food, waitress refills drinks. 7. Final get our drinks! 8. Ten minutes after we order, two meals come, 3 minutes later, third meals comes, and 5 minutes after hamburger comes with no bacon. No refills. Nothing but the bill. We are white and our friends are black. I thought in this day this did not go on! Do No eat there! The food and service was not worth it!

My husband and I were staying In Wear's Valley and didn't like driving 20-30 minutes into busy Pigeon Forge for meals. We discovered Grandmother's Kitchen and we're so glad we did. My husband got the pancakes and I had gravy and biscuits on our first visit. Both meals were delicious. The biscuit and gravy is definitely the way to go. The following day we were traveling and didn't have time to go in to eat. We called in our order and it was hot and waiting when we arrived. If you are staying in Wear's Valley be sure to check them out.

Well I for one at a wonderful experience at gramaw's kitchen back in 2007 or 8 (I can't remember) but it was a wonderful breakfast as we ended our trip back from Cade's cove; I'll never forget those cats head biscuits. The next time I go to Tennessee I'm gonna plan my trip near to that restaurant. As my friend from one of the hollers down in Tennessee would say it tasted so good made my tongue snap back and slapped the back of my throat! Bible BillyO

Really enjoyed the breakfast plate that we ordered. The grits were delicious. The dining area was a little small but it was clean and nice. The waitress was really friendly and took good care of our needs. The restrooms were clean. They charged me $2 extra for using my debit card, not sure why.
