I ordered a steak burrito. Instead of one large burrito, I got three medium-sized burritos. With rice and beans, I couldn't eat it all, and I took the rest home for another meal the next day. It was very good. They have black beans instead of refried beans. I love them, but some people do not, so I make mention here. I will be back!

Finally a place with cilantro rice! The beans were a large serving but all the flavors were delicious ? Shrimp was cooked to perfection.
The only good things about my visit were the happy hour margarita, fresh avocado & attentive waitress. The food, however was mid-tier “mexican”; black beans were burnt & runny aka canned, white rice was marketed as having cilantro in it—that was proven false, the red salsa was cut with tomato sauce and the shrimp made my lips itch.

If you like Tennessee Mexican food, you're not going to like this place. Because it's the REAL DEAL! None of that awful white American cheese here. The sauces are prepared here and not out of a can. They even make their own mole sauce! It's excellent!
Enchiladas are superb. So are tacos and everything else I've tried. Oh, here's a novel thing: the black beans are NOT from a can! Go figure! They prepare them like momma used to. The long, laborious way.
Can't say enough nice things about this place. I've passed by it for years and finally stopped in. Now it's our go-to for great Mexican food east of Nashville.

Very nice local Mexican restaurant. The food was very good (I had the al pastor tacos, and my wife had the salmon), well prepared, and good serving size. The service was good - but there was just one gentleman covering the entire front of the house - hosting, serving, bussing, cashiering, and even bartending. It had him running to keep up. We liked it enough to say that we will return.
