Excellent food; kim chi had good flavor balance and fermentation, and most of the other sides were also good, kim chi pajeon was very tasty, meats were good (grilled at the table). Also too-easy-to-drink soju selection. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Born too early to explore space, born too late to discover gravity, born just in time to dine in Hai Woon Dai.The Vikings are promised a feast worthy of a warrior in the hall of Valhalla, and I can only assume they mean combo D from Hai Woon Dai.The side dishes are like the meat and bones of Tanngrisnir himself, consistently being regenerated and refilled. When the server took away my half finished kimchi, I responded with sadness. I truly thought my amazing dining experience was about to come with a pre mature end. But I was greeted with a fruitful return … more kimchi. As if the restaurant is playing a game of pain and pleasure with me.The fluffy steamed eggs and soft grilled cheese reminds me of the day I learned how to walk.I did not think the simple act of putting meat on a grill can yield such heavenly result. The first bite I took of the pork belly, my faith in all things good and amazing was reclaimed.I am a reformed pacifist because of this experience.Thank you for changing my life.

One of the best Korean Restaurant in the Nashville area. A good friend, Minkyu, myself, along with another friend has visited here on a few occasions. The waitress, Ms Kelly, was extraordinary. She made suggestions about the Korean food, and we settled with sweet pork & rice, Kimchi soup-which is a favorite of mine- among the other dishes. Absolutely amazing! What really impressed me was Ms Kelly had conversed with my friend in their native language and that made our day! We topped the meal off with having our picture taken with Ms Kelly sitting with us, both laughing, and passing the time away. So, ea big shout out to her and having a photo made of us all.P.S. Sorry for taking a couple of weeks to post this review. And, sure hope our pics is still there. lol Much respect: Randy, David, & Minkyu.Kid-friendliness: Yes…,waitress is the best!

The rude cashier gave my crew a complaint when we were trying to split the bill. She was too lazy to provide us receipt because there were 4 of us. I asked for the total receipt, but she threw it away. Later we found out that she put in an automatic tip percentage of 20% with trash customer service. Yall better not mess around with the customer's tip amount.

As a frequent traveler passing through Nashville, I visit this Korean restaurant often. However, the restaurant's interior has become cleaner, and the atmosphere has changed, so I am leaving a review. It felt a bit old before, but now it feels like a comfy cafe. The food tastes the same, but next time, I'll try Jjamppong, which is recommended a lot in reviews.

My family and I ordered a total of 16 entrees for my mom’s birthday celebration and we were so happy with the food and service. The food was delicious, the sides were plenty, and it was ready right on time! We are always nervous ordering large orders but Hai Won Dai did an excellent job! The service was also so friendly and the packaging was concise and well organized. We will definitely continue to be repeating customers!
