Maaaannn they went out of business (covid-19 I'm sure). Sadly....this WAS a good spot
very nice people! Amy was very polite and understanding. Mediocre on cleanliness.
First review I have ever written for a restaurant and only because I think other people should be informed about how bad this place is. 1. I called to make an order and they had less than half the menu. When I finished ordering I was told to come there without being given a time or amount. So I drive 10 minutes to get there. The lady at the front should not be working there. I cannot think of an employee that hates their job more than she does. She not only treated me rudely but also another person waiting on their food, and was not kind to the kitchen workers. I finally got my food after waiting there for 20 minutes. I paid and thought, "that price seems higher than what I was expecting." So before I left, I checked the prices on the menu for what I had gotten, and she rang me up an extra four and a half dollars. By this time, I just wanted to leave because I thought it was better to not argue with this woman who clearly hates her job. The food was slightly above average but everything around the food was terrible. God awful. Pitiful. I mean they had the ranch sauces just sitting out in room temperature. Who wants room temperature ranch? A couple more notes on my experience. The lady working up front was on her phone the whole time, was playing music from her phone that was hooked up to the speakers in the store, and was not paying attention when the food came out. I saw food be placed right in the window behind her head and it sat there for about 3 and a half minutes before she finally noticed it. She must be a friend of the owner. Otherwise, the owner really needs help when interviewing people for jobs. I mean her entire aura is noticeably unhappy, and you will figure that out in the first 5 seconds of meeting her. I think she needs to find work that she actually enjoys doing so it can not only help Harold's customer service rating but will also help her get closer to an enlightened state. Anyways, I will award one star to Harold's because the chicken was not terrible. Otherwise, I would not have even given a star. So basically, if you're in the mood to see a woman with some of the worst: attitude/work ethic/comprehension of her job/understanding of customer service, then check out Harold's!
Food is pretty good but not for the wait. I’ve eaten there and DoorDash from there and it usually takes 15-20 minutes longer than what they say. I guess if you just plan for that extra time then it it’s not so bad. Honestly though, it shouldn’t take 30 minutes to see ANY food leave your counter.
Very nice people and wonderful food. Clarence is a very nice guy there and great cook.
I ordered through Postmates. I was unable to have the order delivered because it said I was out of delivery range and I had to pick up.... but that didn’t deter me from supporting small business. I received a text that my order was ready. I got to the restaurant to pick up my order and the light skinned lady at the register told me “it ain’t ready yet”. So I waited for almost an hour and watched her get an attitude with several more customers as they asked about the status of their orders. Long story short.... went through all of that and the food was about a 4 out of 10.
So glad to find a place close by that serves fried chicken livers. They were so good that they were almost gone before I thought to take a photo of them.
I ordered the spicy chicken tenders thinking it was Nashville hot...turns out U needed it tossed in the sauce.? Great chicken just wish i read the sign better. ? If I'm ever in the part of town again, i will stop back through and try it again. ?
Amazing Catering!!. Had a large event and got chicken tenders and mixed chicken and had best experience with Harold's. The food was amazing-not too hot and great quality. They brought everything needed for the event with them and can't beat the cost. Would highly recommend Harold's to anyone that has an event to cater here in Nashville and will use them again for sure.
Great customer service food taste great. No long line or waiting to park.

Was told that they only accept cash or cash app, but they have an ATM in the restaurant. I ordered tenders meal, but had to wait +15-20min for them and there was no one there before me. I expected coleslaw as the menu says that it is included in the dinners, but I just received the tenders, fries, pickles, and two slices of bread. The tenders were perfectly cooked and juicy, but I ordered the hot and they were barely spicy. The fries were a joke, they were dry and unseasoned. Overall, it was reasonably priced and a decent option for Nashville hot chicken for newcomers that don't want something too spicy. However, there are other Nashville staples worth checking out.
The food was good and reasonably priced.
Mr. Clarence is definitely the epitome of customer service. The chicken is fried fresh & comes to you hot! Now I'm just waiting on those rib tips Chicago style.
Good food, friendly staff. Food takes a little bit but is worth the wait. Will go back!
Reminded me of the restaurant in Chicago. Delicious!!! They even had the pizza puff.
