Loved this place! Went here because it had good reviews and did not know it was a famous place on broadway. Great atmosphere and vibe. I had the small dark meat. So crispy, so good! The leg and thigh were attached. You get 2 sides with it. I got pimento Mac and cheese and fries. Both were tasty. I also got a root beer float. It came with a souvenir cup. I also thought this was pretty inexpensive for being right on broadway!

overall the service was good, employees were kind and friendly. the wait was really long but we came around 11:45 so the lunch rush was at its peak. we did not receive our food until 1:15, so the combined wait for placing our order and receiving our food was an hour and a half so keep that in mind. when it comes to the food, the meat eaters agreed that the chicken was quite good, but as a vegetarian who only ate the sides i have to say they were low quality. i strongly believe that if the sides are not good, the restaurant itself is not fantastic. the sides are half the meal!!! the fries lacked flavor and the pimento mac and cheese had a plastic cheese flavor like kraft singles. if you love mac and cheese like i do i wouldn't risk it. the ranch was very flavorful but too watery to be considered ranch. overall i was not impressed given its long line and presumed hype.

Definitely overrated not worth the hour and a half wait. The chicken was good but not hot enough for me. It was Nothing special. The sides were really good and the alcohol slushies . Also the restaurant was really clean considering how many people eat there.

We were so looking forward to eating here but the line was so long we decided to wait and DoorDash it for dinner. Honestly, food is overhyped, it's mid. We got the chicken sandwich, tender plate, coleslaw, potato salad, fried pickles, bacon grits, and peach cobbler. All of it was super whatever. They also forgot all dipping sauces? Skip it and go to princes. Super disappointed.

Food was amazing! Service was excellent! Ambiance was great! First time here and I came with my son. He ordered the Damn Hot chicken sandwich, turns out it was too hot for him. Staff was nice enough to get him a Mild chicken sandwich so he could actually try the chicken sandwich! I was very pleased with customer service! Thank you to the very delightful and attentive staff!

First time at Hattie B's, so it was definitely a learning experience. I ordered the medium heat chicken tenders with mac n cheese and collard greens, and my hubby ordered the sandwich medium heat with mac n cheese. My tenders were delicious, but spicy. The sandwich would've made the heat more tolerable. My hubby got the sandwich and loved it. The bun plus the brightness of the coleslaw...he didn't notice the heat so much. When I couldn't finish my food, and he started eating my chicken tenders, he was overtaken by the heat, even though we ordered the same heat level! The mac n cheese was pretty good, but the collards were kinda bland (mine are so much better). Next time I'll order the sandwich with a side. Wanted to try the black eyed pea salad, but the gal taking our order didn't know what was in it. So I'll probably order that with the sandwich next time! The line was long, but moved fast. We were able to find seating outside, at one of the picnic tables.

Very good chicken! We got the Damn Hot and my mouth was on fire! We like spicy (my husband even more than I do) and we realized we should have just gotten the Hot.

Hands down the best Nashville hot chicken in the world! Tenders and dark meat fried chicken on the bone were both perfectly fried, perfectly breaded, perfectly spiced, tender and juicy! Sides were all fantastic too! If I lived here I would eat here weekly at least!

I was in Nashville for work and heard so many good things about Hattie B's. I can vouch that it is worth the wait. Food: I ordered the 2 piece chicken (leg and thigh) combo and it came with 2 sides. I really enjoyed how fresh and crispy the fried chicken was. I ordered the mild level because I wanted to really taste just the chicken. There was no heat at all and next time, I will order one or two heat levels higher, the drink station had lots of good selections. The fries and cole slaw were okay. The slice of bread that came with it was simple and soaked up the chicken juices nicely. Service: There is a long line for a reason. But the service was very efficient and it took about 30 minutes to get through the line to order at the counter, Ambiance: They have indoor and outdoor seating. This place was packed for a Thursday evening and it still managed to feel kind of clean and inviting. It was a cool evening so eating inside was more popular. In a nice weather day, the outdoor section would be fun to hang out and people watch. Overall, I highly recommend this location. The food is good and the location can't be beat. So much entertaining occurring Broadway, so stop here for a fun and tasty meal.

For a fast food chain, we were pleasantly surprised with quality of food. For starters, Hattie B’s almost always has a line (the lineup was around the corner before it even opened!), the chicken was pretty tender and juicy and pieces were big.Prices are very fair.
