I am really sad because this bakery was referred to me. I ordered a red velvet cake with a red cream cheese frosting on top, with a cream cheese frosting center. This case was supposed to be for my son's tour party. I explained this when I went in to order the cake 10 days before, and I was very specific. We had 50 guests who attended. When I picked up the cake, I didn't notice a problem until we cut into the cake. The cake was pink, and only had a very thin layer of red icing on top that was crunchy and broke through to a half inch of white frosting that did not taste anything like cream cheese frosting. In the center of the cake was a micro thin layer of what looked like white frosting. It did not taste like cream cheese frosting it tasted like white frosting. And the cake did not taste anything like a red velvet cake, nor was it the beautiful deep red that is red velvet. My son was bummed, I was bummed and a lot of my guests did not eat it. I don't like to complain, but I was really upset because this cake was almost $100 and it was not what I paid for. I tried to explain to the baker my issue, but she just argued with me and said that's how red velvet cake look and it was cream cheese frosting. When I questioned her she said they use white cake and add dye. I said you didn't use Coca Power? Then she changed gears and said oh yes we did. I've made cakes, I've bought many red velvet cakes and that was not red velvet, and it was not cream cheese frosting. It was white icing. I wish that I could have worked it out with her, but she was unwilling and didn't even offer to make it right. All she did is argue her point. It was really unprofessional and very upsetting. Worst of all she was the manager and possibly the owner. I love supporting small businesses and if she had handled it differently and even offered a discount, I would not have written this review. Buyer beware!!!

Foods are baked from scratch. Mostly deals with cupcakes, cookies and cakes. Dont expect croissants or anything too fancy. They did have honey cookies which were quite good though.

I use to come here all the time for their delish chess square desserts. Today there was a new worker I never seen before she was very king lady. There was only one more customer leaving the store when I was there. So it wasn’t busy. I also asked for a snickerdoodle cookie. The employee very sweet last kindly suggested to go in the back and make me one. It’s an open view to the kitchen area so I saw everything; I did not see her wash her hands, plus she did not put on gloves after she just was touching money/cards from the cash register, and she used her bare hands to grab a cookie out their fridge after I saw her just was touching the register with other customers money/cards, then touch the icing holding cookie with her other bare hand on top then sprinkled sugar on it THEN SHE attempted to hand me the cookie with no bag. I told her no and she said ok I’ll get a bag and paper sheet to put your cookie in. The only reason I just went ahead and paid for it only $1.99 out of curiosity that she went to prepare it however extremely unsanitary dealing with food.

If you have not had their Petit Fours....YOU ARE MISSING OUT! The best moist and delicious cake with glaze icing over them. We have had Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Marble and I am not a Red Velvet cake fan but so delicious!
