Fresh meat ground daily. Not a freezer on the property. Fries are shoestring style and are fried in 100% beef tallow (thank you for that Hugh Baby's!). Burgee patties are smash burger style.
This was my first time trying a Hugh Baby's burger. Was a tad over cooked for my first time, but I'll ask for it less well done next time....not a big deal.
Can't beat the freshness and quality of ingredients and cooking methods. I must say that I do prefer Five Guys, and despite their quality of ingredients, Hugh Baby's is even better.
HB is a bit more affordable as well.
It would really be a tough choice between the two if they were located close to each other.
I'll absolutely be back. Thank you for the excellent quality of ingredients!
Good burger for the price!
The burgers were not all that delicious, seemed like regular burgers from a grocery store nothing special. We had better burger experiences elsewhere and the place could use some cleaning. My wife said her burger was a bit pink.
Had quite literally the best fries I’ve ever had! And the bbq burger is nice and juicy! A great option!
A very good burger but just a bit too greasy and definitely overpriced
Best burger ever
Hugh Baby's is always a treat!! If you want a truly delish made to order smashburger, juicy with a crispy edge covered in hot melty cheese...a burger that makes you wish for another last bite, this is the place. The shoestring french fries deliver just the right mix of crunchy and soft for any spud lover, but I dare you to splurge for chili cheese fries... you'll be spoiled for life! Keep bringing the magic Hugh Baby's!!
Burgers were great, and fries were fresh as well
Stumbled across this place trying to find tacos lol, however I’m glad I discovered this place. I ordered the Shroom and swiss burger ($7.49) and fries ($2.99) everything is à la carte so there’s no combos my total came out to be 14.23. In my opinion that’s kinda pricy for a combo. But to say the least everything was fresh and delicious. Very greasy burger home style 😋
Was looking for a good burger while visiting Nashville. Hugh-Baby's was recommended and they did not disappoint. In fact, I went two days in a row. Customer service was great and food came out quick! I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Really good, expensive smash burgers and a great chicken sandwich. I am not a fan of the fries.
Oooooohhh baby. It's Hugh Babys at its best on Thompson Lane. The cook nails it every time. Quadruple cheese with bacon. Crispy around the edges and juicy in the middle. The best smash burger in town.
Five Guys could learn a thing or two from this place! Burgers were on point, the PRICE WAS RIGHT, and the music was good too!
Wasn't worth the money.
Great hamburger
