Really love the light, airy feeling of this food-court style establishment in East Nashville. Excellent atmosphere with lots of seating. The food offerings we have tried are somewhat mediocre, but that's not the fault of Hunter's Station. We've been there twice for dinner, and it wasn't terribly busy either time. Makes me wonder if prime time for Hunter's Station is really lunchtime. I feel it's worth a few visits to try out the different food...
I ordered a Barbecue Sandwich from Hugh Baby's and they left off my cold slaw and my barbecue sauce. I had to drive around the building and go back in to get it fixed. Such an inconvenience when you are on a time limit with parking and your lunch break.
The quality of food spots has gone down. Some of the locations are like store brand versions of the real deal. There's a salad place like Cava and Chopt. An Asian street food like Hawkers, etc. But they aren't store brand prices. $20 for a salad and $20 for some sort of Asian fusion bowl that had frozen peas. It's kinda sad too, the atmosphere is like Rivergate mall.
