We had a great time at this acclaimed restaurant, with an eclectic menu, such as the glazed pigs ears in lettuce wraps. The former residence has multiple rooms, on two levels, and our one regret is that we sat in a room with about ten tables, and the hard-scape decor meant that the noise level was just below the decibel level of bars on Broadway Stu’s neon district.

Everything we got to eat was amazing! We sat at the bar and were mainly served by Kevin, who is very friendly and knowledgeable. Don't skip out on the biscuits! The pig ears were phenomenal. We had the duck and quail for our entrees and the semifreddo and custard for dessert. Overall we had a fantastic time. Thanks Kevin!

We came from out of town for a birthday weekend. I had thought Husk would be best for a nice dinner for a birthday celebration and we were looking forward to dining and relaxing in a nice atmosphere.

My partner and I arrived early and were hoping to have a drink in the bar. My partner (44 years old) and I (34 years old) ordered drinks and my partner was carded. We thought it was a charming zinger, she looks young but definitely is of age. Unfortunately, her drivers license from Ontario had expired a week or so previous, unbeknown to us. They refused to serve her. I manage restaurants, and understand that there are laws in place but it seemed wholly arbitrary. We asked the maitre d if this was common practice to which she replied that it was. Fair enough. Except that it wasn’t. People who arrived after us and looked substantially younger were served without being asked for ID. The person who served us had the energy of the young bar back aiming for the bartender role and not quite understanding that it’s not about them, but the guest. The only thing missing was the moustache and suspenders, and the behind the bar concoctions of “house smoked sweet vermouth”. He probably brings his own mixing glass with him. Just in case.

We don’t automatically assume the worst, but my partner was the only black patron at that point in time, in a restaurant in the south. Sadly it makes you wonder if we were being given special treatment. We aren’t a group of 20 somethings on a bachelorette slinging long islands back like Perrier.

The server at our table was kind and turned the experience around for us from then on, but the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths. If it’s a policy, I understand. But a policy needs to be implemented without bias to every patron and not just those we have a bias towards (either conscious or unconscious)

I can’t in good faith recommend this place to anyone, and that’s a shame because I’ve been looking forward to dining here for a couple of years and was excited to have the chance.

I know this review won’t do anything, and I’m sure it’ll be a laughable talking point for the staff about the couple that complained and how offside we were. This review is meant to serve as a warning to other guests. I will remember this moment as a training scenario for all my staff going forward, up there with the mayonnaise being used instead of the crème anglais at another restaurant. Both experiences equally as amateur.

This is a wonderful restaurant in a great location. Parking available. Downstairs bar is a great place to dine. Bartenders very knowledgeable about food and drinks. We had the catfish and quail entrees with the vegetable plate - about 5 different dishes. All three were excellent. Apps - beef tartare and a zucchini dish. Very good. Get the tartare! Finished with a Bardstown Bourbon flight. ?!!

Absolute gem in Nashville. We were a table of six and decided to order one of everything on the menu so we could all try each dish. Every dish was great (even the zucchini dish). Kentuckyaki pigs ears were the hit! We will be back for sure.

One of my favorite stops when I’m in Nashville. The space is inviting, and the staff takes pride in their work. As someone from the west coast, it’s a great sample of unique southern food.

Loved the space. The firsts were our collective fav! Garden lettuces were sooo special. Some of the best catfish I’ve ever had. Everything is incredibly intentional and thought out! We had a great time catching up and savoring our meal.

What a delightful evening. The farm to table food was incredibly delicious and so fresh. Hard to decide what to get but at least you can't go wrong, no matter what you order. It's ALL fantastic! Sean was great server and made our birthday celebration a really fun time.

I would have rated this place one star if it’s not for the service. I took my partner here to celebrate his birthday. The food was so bad and salty. We finished the meal in disappointment. I didn’t even want to order dessert here for my partner’s birthday given the negative experience with the food. There were also several other reviews on Google regarding how salty the food was but it seems that the restaurant doesn’t intend to modify or value customers’ feedback.
