Service was not good. We were the only table the waitress had. We waited over 30 minutes for food due to a shift. Our food came out incorrectly and cold. Might get better service if you go when there isn't a shift change.

Slow cleanup are table empties, food was good and service was okay. Expect a wait, even with clear tables and loud patronage. Only go here if you have a craving for this chain, otherwise find someplace else with better service and not so much noise.

I had just arrived in Tennessee and was famished customer service there was great prices were great the restaurant was very clean as well as the bathroom. I guess the only reason I'm not giving it the full five stars is because my food didn't taste as good as it probably should have.

This place needs some help.. I usually come by this location after a show downtown....this time they let us stand there and wait to be seated for 10 minutes before they told us to seat ourselves and get our own menus then the 2 servers weren't very friendly we have already been sitting her almost an hr and havent even gotten out drinks they took other orders that got here AFTER we did.... I just want to eat a pancake and an omelet and go home BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!

OMG rude people servers. i waited for 45 mintes for totally junk food, was served with plastic fork packets for the tabled just thrown in the middle of the table. asked for water, never got any. kids food looked like it was from a cheap buffet line amd not something made to order. my pancakes were one hour wait!!!! and when the server brought them, the were all tourn up as if someone already ate some. just disgusting place. don't come here. the manager gave me a 25% off the food bill. gee, thanks for nothing. just shut down the place already. i came to ihop expecting what other locations offer. this was disappointing.

Don't come to this IHOP this will be your worst IHOP experience ever to start, there drinks are down the food takes around 1.5 hrs to come out and the waitress never stops by to help you. Stay away.

IHOP Elliston Place gets a well deserved one star after my third unsatisfactory visit on a weekday. The one star is for the sad faced- but kind- waitress who worked my table. Very slow service and I got lukewarm food. Kitchen staff looked unclean. If they weren't in close proximity to Vanderbilt University, I believe they wouldn't survive financially with their lackluster customer service.

We were seated promptly and saw several other people seated after us a party of 2. The other people seated after us were served coffee asked for their orders while we sat there waiting for receive for 20 minutes If I could give it 0 would.
Stopped in on a Saturday. Maybe 3 tables had customers. Watched 2 employees help a couple of tables and ignored us. A third employee came out of the restroom ready to leave. No one even acknowledged we were waiting with a simple, "We'll be right with you." Got fed up with it after about 10 minutes and after another group came in after us. Could only imagine what the service was like after you actually got a table.

Is there a way to give this place no Stars? The absolute worst IHOP in the country. This place should shut down. Expect to wait 30 mins before getting acknowledged. Oh, and that's not because other people are in line, it's because their service is the absolute worst. This is not referencing one experience, but 3 times, I've been there and 3 times they've made me wait before acknowledging my standing there to simply place an order to go. 3 different times. I know, it's my fault for going to this IHOP, but it's two blocks from my apartment, and honestly, I've been rooting for this place to succeed because I love their food. But this place should shut down or get new management. I wouldn't waist your time or money here or at any IHOP for that matter.

Takes about five minutes to get someone to greet you when you enter and to get you seated. The service is something that needs attention as the employees are slow and seem to not appreciate waiting on customers. When ordering, the waitress did not write anything down and was asked how I wanted my eggs to which I responded scrambled and well done. However, I was given eggs that were over easy and the white was still raw and liquidy. Never was given a refill on my tea. I was also not offered the special running for the 2 x 2 x 2 with the unlimited pancakes for 4.99.

Used to enjoy this place (Hermitage) but it's going down hill so fast & trust me, corporate doesn't care- we wrote to them- no response. Cook wearing cut off sleeveless shirt, full beard, busing tables, spraying around dumpster area, helpful, but then... He went to the restroom & my son came out & said... We will NEVER come back - he Never washed his hands!!!!!
