This is the second time I have ordered food on the IHOP app and when my assistant is there to pick it up it is not ready. According to my assistant the place smells bad, the odor hits you as you walk in the door. Customer service -I believe her name is Augustine is very rude. Curses at my assistant. I order from this location a lot and normally the food is very good. If wait time is an hour then the app needs to reflect that. Since my order was not ready, I did not receive my order nor a refund yet. I filled out the contact form and am waiting to get a response. I guess it's time to find a new breakfast spot.

Awful service every time (three visits so far). Even when the place is nearly empty, the wait is long. On my last visit, it took 14 minutes just to get a glass of water. The front door has been broken for months. I also watched staff drop bacon on the floor, pick it up, and put it back on the plate. When I asked for a replacement, they gave me attitude.
The positive reviews here don’t match what I’ve experienced — many of them read like they were written by staff themselves.

Jamal great waiter was cleaning tables, serving and trying to greet guests meanwhile the other stuff was just staring at us with no words. Great personality He really make a difference for this ihop if it was not for him our experience wasn’t going to be good enough ! Our kids really was happy

The food was fine but the service was awful. The IHOP in my local area in California is always busy, but the service was never awful like at this place.
It took forever for them to ask what we wanted to drink and it took even longer to ask what food we wanted to order.
The place was not even busy either so there was no excuse for the long wait.
Also, do not get me started on how dirty the restaurant is. The tables were very dirty. Our table wasn't as clean as it should be. You can see the wet streaks and some missing spots on the table. Like they did a quick wipe and called it a day. Maybe tables are still left with plates from the previous people that are there.

Bad experience! The food was cold and had no taste at all. The waiter was trying so hard to keep up with the orders, unfortunately she had a bad attitude. The door inside is broken and it gives a really bad atmosphere to the place. Also the place is not clean. If you want to eat here expect a long time to wait for your food. I'm definitely not coming back!
We were there for two hours. Nor enjoying but service was that slow. They took us right in. They took our orders and it was cold when they brought it to the table. Our orders were mixed up. They didn't come to check on refills We asked for the manager and they didn't come. When time to pay our bills, they were all mixed up. It took her 20 minutes to get it straight . I've never had such lousy service

As a chain the food is always good but this locations service is absolutely terrible! Waited at the host stand for 20 mins with workers looking in my direction, even coming over to hand off a Uber eats and did not even acknowledge my presence! No wonder why the Smyrna location is always so packed because nobody wants to come to this one.

Left without ordering. We went on a Saturday morning. Very few customers were there even though it should have been a busy period. The ceiling was leaking and a door was broken to the point of the glass being separated from the frame. We waited for 10 minutes and never saw a single worker. We finally left after no one appeared to seat us.
