Sent my tenders back and asked for them to be more crispy… They Definitely just refried the same ones… Then asked me was that better…. I said yes because they looked darker… then tried one and it had an aftertaste… the same kind of aftertaste you get when you refry the a finished product.. I can’t prove what I didn’t see same time iykyk.probably some kind of health code violation… but I won’t know ??♀️ usually I love this place…. Guess I’ll take a break for a while.

If you have never been to J Alexander's, you have to find one and try it. Be prepared to leave full and have an amazing experience. The wait staff was exceptional, truly exceptional. The portions are large, so come hungry. I had grilled chicken salad, Mr Jack's chicken plate (substitute the fries for the macaroni and cheese) it's not your ordinary mac and cheese. I finished it off with a slice of key lime pie. My waitress Jessica told me it was like Heaven on Earth, and she was not wrong. Pricey but so well worth the cost.

Garbage. If you want to eat something that tasted like something you could have picked up at Kroger but for $100 instead of $20, then this is your place! Steak tasted like it was marinated in hotdog water, oven baked chicken tasted like Krogers rotisserie chicken. Had to hunt down my waiter, twice. Watched others get bread and butter to start, we did not- guess you had to ask for it. Cheers.

First time at J. Alexanders for a dinner, on the strong recommendation of a long-time local fan. All-around great experience. Service was very helpful, friendly and efficient. House said was very good; caesar salad was ordinary. Ribs and crab cake entrees were outstanding. You can tell that they care about the local clientele and that is sadly rare today in the Nashville area and worthy of praise! Will be back!

The Manager Amber Stanton went above and beyond customer service she provided nothing but soul hospitality I can tell she puts heart into her job we initially had reservation for 8 she made room for 12 at at last minute just to make my nefue birthday special I can express in writing the pleasure I have knowing in my heart that if I come to Redlands am be taken care whole heartedly great food and great service they go above and beyond thank you she’s one a kind and I most definitely would never let her go as manager.

I love this place but today it was very disappointing. Lunch at the bar, only one other person sitting there. Ordered a salad, ice tea and had to ask for silverware when food arrived. I was never asked for a refill on my tea or if my food was good. The restaurant wasn't that crowded, bartender was busy texting on her phone. The guy who took my order never returned either to ask me how was everything he just stood behind bar. I also tip always and above the rate but today I did not. Makes me sad to have such service.

TERRIBLY RUDE ATTITUDE ! I rarely write bad reviews but I honestly could not get over how disappointed I was tonight . They DROPPED THE BALL . Let me start by saying that we have always enjoyed visiting this location over the years . Tonight we had reservations for dinner and sadly the hostess running the computer was EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. She seemed almost bothered by the customers. First impressions are important to customers especially in a city with so many options to choose from. No one wants to walk into a restaurant where they plan to spend upwards of $100 and be met with a rude hostess . Unfortunately , I cannot recommend this restaurant anymore . This experience has left a Bad Taste in my mouth.
