I am not from the area, & the hotel clerk where I stayed highly recommended this burger place. Glad she did, quite possibly the best burger I've ever met đ. service was top notch too!
the team here is amazing and is always understanding, Yesterday I was a at Jack Browns durning the ânegative reviewâ under my review and I will say none of that is factual, overall the team is super understanding and very very caring and knowledgeable, As per TN law people must present an ID to any staff member of an establishment serving alcohol regardless of if someone else asked and for people to pull cards they should not pull is devastating because the people here are truly 10/10 Hence the 5 star review. These people will stop all they do to insure a safe, secure and caring environment. People will always make mountains from ant hills, as someone who has been targeted for racism and discrimination for a while being that I am jewish and have had to serve within isreal, the team has been nothing but truly welcoming to EVERYONE and has always gone out of the way to make sure people are happy. Refusal of service is something that isnât anything to do with race but everything to do with attitude and LAW!! It is illegal to serve someone regardless of if they are drinking alcohol prior to being asked without producing an ID period.

Please avoid this location. Jack browns has great burgers but itâs so worth it to drive to the Germantown location or Green hills when they're open. My husband and I go to Jack Browns often and always take friends and family but at this location we were kicked out⊠refused service for no good reason at all. Iâve never been kicked out of a restaurant and it was wild. Long story, short my husband (who is black) was the only person at our table who was asked to show ID. We were with my younger brother and his GF who both look 18. I didnât have my ID on me so the server said Iâm sorry I canât serve you (which is totally fine) but then my little brother and his gf order a beer when she comes back and she doesnât ask for either of their IDs (not a huge deal but weird because we just talked about this). Then I simply ask if a photo of mine would work and was told ânoâ so I ordered a Diet Coke. A few minutes later another servers comes up to us to âapologizeâ and we explain what happened and say itâs not a big deal it just felt weird and I ask for a Diet Coke again but before she leaves she says actually let me go ahead and check everyoneâs ID. My husband already showed his to our server so he didnât reach for his again⊠This instantly pissed off the women and she said if my husband didnât show ID then he had to leave and he simply and calmly asked why it was necessary since he just showed our server and she could ask our server. This women was not serving us drinks and he did not need to simply âdo as she saidâ⊠people donât just walk up to you in a restaurant and ask to see your ID if they arenât serving you alcohol⊠we didnât say any of that but instead of answering the question she states again that we need to leave and storms off.. we were gathering cash to leave on the table for our drinks because we felt so uncomfortable and wanted to go asap. Then the manager comes out all fired up and straight to our table goes âwhatâs the problem are we refusing to show IDâ we are still calm and simply try to explain and the 2 IDs that were not checked are still out on the table. Truly didnât see the problem. The manager is like visibly angry with us with his hands down on our table insisting again that my husband show his ID and all he wanted to know was why. This guy claps his hand (causing a scene) and says âyour drinks are on me just finish them and get outâ and walks off shouting âMerry Christmasâ we were stunned bc at no point did we fight or raise our voices even the slightest. Didnât even get many words out at all and we were forced to leave after we had ordered and been waiting on our food for awhile already. I never got my Diet Coke either lol. Honestly it was a very strange and inappropriate situation and I still donât understand what grounds there were to kick us out. We left peacefully and never once returned the energy they were giving us. It felt like discrimination and that should not be tolerated. It was the worst service experience all around. The whole interaction was so disrespectful and disappointing. Also, itâs illegal to give people free drinks so they maybe shouldnât do that especially when we were happy to pay and simply wanted our food and the bare minimum service that we were denied. I canât help but wonder if they would have treated someone that looked different a different wayâŠ. Because what the hell was that if not discriminatory. My brother kept saying after that he really wished he pulled out his phone and recorded their behavior. I so wish I did too but I think I was too in shock to think about it.
Excellent Burgers and beer selection! Never disappointed.

Burgers are really good. A bit small so you've been warned. Kinda wish there was more bar food outside of that. Maybe some Nachos or Wings or something. Kinda wish they had something other than tap water as well.
Easy recommendation is the burger of the day! Even if they got rid of the Pork Belly one. Outside of that the Cowboy is worth a try.

Really cool little place. Love the atmosphere. We went on Halloween and they had decorations up. Ordered the Elvis burger and it was really good. Burger was cooked well and delicious. Servers were friendly. Would definitely come back.

Great burger, wide selection of beer, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Our server was Lauren, and she was a delight. We came down from Indiana looking for a chill, yet rewarding time. Thanks for the great experience.

I love Jack Browns.
This is the third location I've hit and this one might be tops.
Great service, killer food with a cool and funky interior.
I got the Greg Brady, my friend got the Gonzo, my other friend got the Elvis on Acid and the last burger was Cobra Kai. We followed up with Fried oreos.

Excellent non-pretentious spot for a burger. Definitely lots of options for pretentious in the neighborhood so this one is refreshing. Good beers, good tunes , and a chill staff. 10/10.
