First discovered this place 3 yrs ago when a friend was recovering from liver transplant @ Vandy and the condo he was staying in was just down the street. Now, we come here every time we're in Nashville. We always go to the Charlotte street location because they are constantly smoking the meats fresh, there's a generous amount of seating and the employees are always friendly. All of their meats are cooked perfectly (we've tried them all but the sausage, brisket, and ribs are our favorites) and they give you generous portions. The Brunswick stew is delicious, the collard greens are fabulous, and the mac n cheese is good. It's not cheap but we always get 2 meals out of each combo platter we buy. Oh, and the banana pudding is a decadently perfect way to top it off.

Parking: Generally there's plenty of parking but this last time we went the parking lot was full and we discovered there's an overflow lot behind the BK.

Quick and friendly service. The meats and sides were good, reason for the 4 is the corn bread was a bit meh The sauces were great make sure you try them all!

Our first meal in Nashville was Jacks BBQ. The ribs were good and we loved the creamy mac and cheese. We were especially impressed with Tiffany, the cashier. Tiffany was very pleasant, professional and very efficient.

I got the 2 meat combo…ribs and brisket with Mac and cheese and corn and it came with 2 little pieces of cornbread. Meat was tender but had no flavor, (definitely need bbq sauce) bbq sauce was good, Mac and cheese was gross, corn was good, and the cornbread had no flavor either. Nothing spectacular at all. Customer service was unsatisfactory, cashier was very rude.

The best BBQ and brisket. I choose this place because the sides are so good as well. Nothing I’ve had from them is bad. Not to mention the deserts! Banana pudding and chocolate chess pie. Okay!

Have been pretty disappointed with Nashville bbq until trying this place. This will be our new go to for BBQ while in town.

Counter serve bbq joint with good brisket and a pretty good sausage offering. Sides are the best I have had thus far in Nashville. Good cornbread and toast. Fried apples are awesome. Iced tea was fresh and the sauces are quality!

Parking is behind the building, security was in the parking lot.
