Ive had a lot of bbq. This was so good! The pork was good, the baked beans were incredible, but the banana pudding was the winner of the night! My boyfriend got the brisket. He said best brisket ever!

I went here during the ice storm to get to-go dinners for me and my wife. My wife is from Texas and loved their brisquit. I had half a smoked chicken. (Very good). The sides (mashed potatoes, green beans, mac and cheese) were very good. Not second- thought sides but like you would serve at home. My wife and I not into sweet cornbread but Jack's is just a tad sweet. We gobbled it up. We still have no power after 6 days. She requested Jack's for dinner tonight.

This is a fantastic, off-the-beaten-path spot for BBQ food. We tried the brisket, ribs, chicken, and pork. I have listed those in order of our favourites. The ribs had a lot of meat on them and literally fell of the bone. The brisket was juicy and had some burnt ends on it, the chicken was perfect and had a wonderful smoky flavour especially on the skin, and the pork was good. Definitely the place to go for good, authentic bbq!

This place is a staple when I visit Nashville. The food is absolutely amazing. I cannot speak more highly of the brisket and how it was cooked and seasoned. Perfection is the only word that comes to mind. I love that flying little piggy too.

Loved this place! This is the site of the State of Tennessee's first penitentiary. While the structure is gone, it's still a cool place. The brisket and pulled pork was delicious! The seating area was well attended, clean, and inviting. We will be back!

While this is one of my favorite bbq places, it has been brought my attention that some of the employees are not washing their hands and following sanitation standards. Until the cleanliness of the employees has been corrected I will unfortunately not be returning.

Tucked away in a nice location with parking. Smell of bbq lingered in the air. The gentleman behind the counter was sharp and tentative with healthy portions per order. Food tasted amazing, pull pork was a delight. Carolina bbq sauce was spot on
