My favorite local place in Donelson.Our waiter was very nice and helpful.Ordered our food for takeout and it was all good.Enjoyed my margarita and our chips and salsa while we waited.

We come to Nashville every few months and stay nearby this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. Wow we were very impressed. The food was great and we ate so much I couldn't walk. The salsa and queso was so good. My husband basically licked his plate clean. The only thing I'd say negative is the tortillas are terrible. Very over heated which made them rubbery. I had the steak fajitas rancheras plate and my husband had the chuletas de puerco. We will definitely be back though.

Some days I just need the comfort food from the backstreets and family restaurants in TX without the air travel. I've hunted and tested every taco truck, market and Mexican restaurant for authentic, simple, perfect street tacos. So far, the best I've found are here. The chicken is grilled and seasoned masterfully. A simple garnish on my preferred corn tortillas of onion and cilantro is all they need. The salsa & slice of lime are the final accents. So simple, so fresh, so good.

Get your daily dose of nutrients with fresh salsa! On one of our visits, we saw staff unboxing a vibrant selection of produce. It is welcoming to have a nice, family-owned Mexican restaurant that doesn't seem to cut corners on quality while keeping their prices reasonable. We chose to hold our annual Friends' Christmas ? Dinner with them, and they were helpful and accommodating.

Jalisco is a regular spot for me and my partner. Of the many Mexican places we've tried, Jalisco hits all the marks. The salsa is delicious--chunky, cilantro-y, flavorful, and the queso tastes wonderful. The food is awesome (I usually get a fajita quesadilla) and staff is kind. Highly recommend!

Decent experience with decent quality of food. Free chips and salsa were delicious and the steak fajitas was good. Little salty but the portions were large and the steak cooked well. I would give 3.5 stars but that is not an option. Would come again but would not seek it out.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Food was great. Server was nice he was busy working a lot of tables but he was on top of it. The ambiance is nice a little dark but dining experience was clean and great!

Maybe it’s my personal taste but the food wasn’t cooked fully to my liking. It had a bunch of cheese grated on top but not cooked into the meal like someone threw a bunch of cheese on it before it was served. The fish taco was great! My wife had the fajita quesadilla and it had excellent flavor. They have great service too!
