Place was wonderful so sad they said they are closing
Go now. They are closing their doors at the end of the month. The Brussel sprouts in a red wine gastrique are the best I've ever had. The grilled cheese with Peach jam is unique and delicious. It's quiet around 6 PM but live music starts up around 8 PM.
Great food with small focused menu. Had the peach grilled cheese. Amazing. Great espresso martini!!

This was my favorite place to hear traditional music in Nashville. Sadly they are closing in three weeks.
We have come to this location in the past and really had great experiences. I booked a reservation several days in advance, requested a small corner booth, and even noted it was a birthday. When we arrived, we were greeted with indifference. The table has been seated just a few minutes before we arrived (the people at the table did not even have drinks yet) and were told they waited as long as they could...btw, we were also about 10 minutes early for our reservation. It was the start to a pretty disappointing evening. The server, Paige, was outstanding. She checked on us quite often and refilled water multiple times. She deserves a 5 star rating and ai hope she lands a great job when this place closes in a few weeks. The bartender was also quite prompt in delivering beers. The food was pretty good. The hot bacon sandwich is always a winner. The peach jalapeno grilled cheese needed a little less cheese and the peach needed to be softer or thinner. The real kicker was going to the bathroom when we were leaving. One of the ladies stalls was out of order and the other one did not want to flush. The paper towel roll was just laid out on a shelf and the soap was a bottle of watered down something. It was pretty gross. Someone went into the kitchen door when I was at the bathroom, and it looked like a massive junk pile all over the place. I can only imagine what the kitchen must look like. Overall, I enjoyed the music and ambiance but it looks like it is definitely time to say goodbye to this place. Oh, and the paid parking lot adjacent had no sign that customer could get 2 hours free from a link inside the restaurant. There went another $16 charge that was totally unnecessary.
Chicken sandwich, pot pie and cornbread were amazing. Great place to unwind after a day on Broadway. We couldn’t have been happier with the atmosphere, meal or service!
The food was good and the service was friendly and accommodating. The music was excellent, the right amount of volume to have while enjoying a nice meal
We had a great dinner at Jane's Hideaway. Everything we had was terrific however the deviled eggs and Brie and apple grilled cheese were outstanding. We will for sure be back the next time we are in Nashville!

Jane's Hideaway came very highly recommended by Christine at a Little Local Flavor (an excellent walking food tour). She was so right! It's a pretty unassuming little place but the food and service were both really good. Our server, Paige, was excellent and attentive...she helped us decide what to order. :) The restaurant also features live, acoustic music which was so awesome (after going to a couple places on Broadway that are just way too crowded and loud). We saw the Corduroy Cadets. Super talented young men...great vocals with beautiful harmonies. Fun mix of song choices with excellent arrangements. Loved it! Great way to spend our last night in Nashville.
What a cute little place! Tuesday nights are fun to hear from different singer songwriters. There is such great talent out there. This is a great place to hear them.

Our service was great. The jambalaya, chicken pot pie, deviled eggs were fantastic! The brussels sprouts had a great flavor, but were so charred that you kind of lost the Brussel sprout. However, they were still delicious. My biggest complaint was the grilled cheese was not grilled enough, especially on one side and came to the table barely warm so that the cheese didn't seem melted anymore. If it came hot, I think it would've been delicious. The air was cold and blowing right down on us. Definitely needed a little sweater. Overall, it was a nice evening. The music was great.
Waitress was attentive and food came out fast. Food quality was not good. Okta fries had a good flavor but had a lot of pieces that weren't edible. For the entrees we got the jambalaya and meat loaf. The jambalaya was by far the worst, rice was under cooked and the sausage tasted microwaved. The meat loaf was edible, but we ended up paying our $80 + bill and leaving in the first 30 minutes
Weekdays are moderately busy, cocktails are very good, bartenders are very nice, and the live music is always great.
