Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q

I have given them too many chances. I always order #2 Loaded Potato. I want everything on the potato but sour cream. Then I want extra on the side and my pork on the side. For some reason they can never get that right. Either it's plain with everything on the side or they just do what they want. So I go in and order they still can't get it right, then manager makes she missed on thing but hey just give it to me. She was very sorry. I gave them 6 months break. So today 12/7/24, they disappointed me again. They gave me a plain very plain potato with just a little bacon that I couldn't even see, instead of butter I got sour cream 🤢. When I told them the order was wrong he got an attitude. This is my last time giving them my money. I know they don't care but I can take my money elsewhere that will get my order right.
#2 with no sour cream, pulled pork on the side. Can I also get on the side extra bacon, extra butter, and cheese. How hard is that to make?????

I'm giving 3 stars only because the styrofoam cups in the drive-through are garbage!!! Food is good, price expensive just like everywhere else these days... Just hate to see these cheap cups that bust so easily.

Recently visited this location for the first time and unfortunately, it was not a good experience. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the manager as I reviewed the menu (order/carryout). He answered specific questions for me Q: Is the chicken shredded/chopped? A: It can be pulled when ordered. Q: How big are the serving proportions for the catfish? A: They are pretty big, the fillets are cut in two. I placed my order. I drove home, opened the containers and the chicken was still on the bone; the catfish was over fried, cold and there were two small pieces (the size of the fillets at Cracker Barrel are better). I called to let them know the order was not correct, and I was told nothing could be done until the manager returned IN AN HOUR. I was not going to wait an hour! Took the food back and the order was remade. The manager did return while I was waiting and offered me a gift card in addition to remaking the order. I would hope so..... Moral of the story, if you are doing a carry-out order, be sure to check it before you leave.

This feels like a classic nashville BBQ place, not Disney with cowboy hats and blaring music.

I was surprised to rate it this high, I thought it was going to be ok, but the chicken was super tender, cheddar jalapeño sausage had real kick and the sides are all good. My new favorite bbq place in Nashville.

Definitely coming back to this pleasant surprise

Nov 4th, I ordered 3lbs of ribs to go. I don't live in the area, but when I'm in town, I'll swing through and get ribs to take home. You guys are pretty consistent but these particular ribs were quite possibly the best I've ever eaten. Not just from JnN, but period. They were seasoned just right, meaty, and tender. I don't know who cooked them, but I hope they get a raise! Keep doing what you do!

They have the meats! The turkey breast was tasty and moist, the brisket was lean (they offer marbled) and perfectly smoked and the pulled pork was just right. We had the beans and the cole slaw and only the slaw didn't stand out.

Very busy, but the lady that helped us was excellent and so was the food. Anytime we trave l south from Detroit, MI we make it our business to stop at Jim N Nick's. We are sorry we couldn't buy those shirts that said you could smell our butts a mile away. We will come again

The worst burger I've ever had. And let's not forget the soggy uncooked fries. That's right they forgot to fry them. I want my 10 bucks back. Except it's not worth another trip there. Run!
