I was so excited to try Jonathan’s but can’t say I had a good experience at all. Went with 2 folks in my party from Sweden and 3 of us are local from Jackson. We originally were going to sit at the bar area and asked if we could move 2 tables together and was told yes. We go sit down and then someone else comes over and said “it’s rush hour and you can’t put tables together”…even though we asked first. We get a different table in the dining area and one of the Swedish folks orders a beer, showed his Swedish ID, and was told he needed his passport. First off, who just keeps their passport on them?? That’s a huge security risk. Secondly, what information is on there that isn’t on a valid drivers license? So we ask questions and then the waitress says something about “aren’t you guys the Swedish group who were sitting over at the bar?” NO IDEA what that was supposed to mean but I found that extremely rude and uncalled for especially since there was nothing at the bar she was referring to. We didn’t even sit long enough to look at menus let alone order a drink before we were so rudely made to get up. I definitely got a very bad taste regarding this restaurant and to only have mediocre food after those occurrences, yeah, i wouldn’t recommend going here ESPECIALLY if you have someone in your party that is foreign. Good luck, if so. Oh, and waiting for a salad 15 minutes AFTER all other cooked meals were brought out. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Great place to have a lunch meeting. Staff was amazing, made sure we had everything wee needed and allowed us to have time to discuss work at the same time. Food was amazing as always.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon visiting from New Zealand. Wonderful Staff and Patrons. As a complete stranger and quite shy to new places, i was especially looked after by a regular named Tanner. Everybody was very friendly and very welcoming. Chicken sliders and Cowboy Burger was amazing and crazy delicious. Way better than any of the Bars on Broadway. Well done to the managers and staff for delivering an amazingly warm experience and fond memory of my visit. Thanks y'all!

Solid venue. Good food options and GF and Vegetarian as well. Went for lunch on a Monday but am certain weekend during football season this is a great place to watch the games. Service was nice, good was good and portions were large.
To go order was perfect and the bartender who brought my order to me was kind and friendly. Will definitely go back there.

We came in as a party of 8 and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was great, as was the atmosphere.
What really made the night, though, was our server, Will. He was incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive, and his knowledge of the menu made choosing food and drinks easy. His suggestions were spot-on, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed our evening.
What touched us most was how kind and patient he was with my 92-year-old grandmother. He went out of his way to make her comfortable, speaking to her with such respect and warmth. That kind of service is rare these days, and it didn’t go unnoticed.
Will is truly a gem, and because of him we’ll absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend!

August 8th 2025 roughly 11pm, young guy with a mustache was our server, had an appetizer, salads, and 3 entrees, never checked on us, no refills, only had 4 tables. Felt ignored, maybe avoid going during Friday nights, server was only focused on people drinking alcohol, although we had close to 100 bill. I don’t know if we’re being avoided or he was overwhelmed, kind of hard to tell. Food was great, food runner was excellent. Still tipped 15% thanks to the food inner. He left server name off check, for obvious reasons. Will go back during the day. Half the stools were put up on tables at 11pm, not a great look for a restaurant. From a broadway barback perspective, having a redbull cooler that was almost empty and random facing liquor bottles looks tacky.
