The falafels were amazing! Probably some of the best falafels I've had! The grape leaves were equally amazing! Very happy with those two! The salmon salad special that I got wasn't bad, but I felt it was a little bit small for the price of $25. The tiramisu that we had was amazing! The atmosphere was relaxing, and the customer service was excellent! Overall, definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for Mediterranean. ?

Kalamatas is a local, fast casual dining establishment in Green Hills. We ordered the chicken gyro plate and the chicken kebab plate. They were both delicious!! They came with a fresh Greek salad, pita and rice. The chicken gyro was tender chicken in a savory sauce whereas the kebab was chunks of marinated, grilled chicken. We order hummus as an appetizer. It was smooth and creamy and the pita was warm and yummy. Definitely recommend as it is a great price for the wonderful food!

I tried Kalamata’s for the first time today and wow wow wow. It’s the best Mediterranean food in Nashville. And really slept on. The staff was kind and the service was excellent. Food came out super fast too! Could eat their hummus everyday.

The food is nasty. It use to be authentic, now it’s your basic run of the mill generic food you can find just about anywhere.
It is rather informal for a quick lunch or for a dinner. The choices follow along Greek lines and the food is very tasty. We go there often when we are out running errands and are near the lunch hour, or on some occasions for dinner. Your order at the counter, the menu is a little limited, and the server brings your order out to you.
