Wow! Best felafel in Nashville. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and moist and flavorful inside. My husband and I both got felafel bowls and also some baba ganoush and baklava. Everything was excellent. Don't be fooled by the humble location, this place is gold.

This was one of the first places I went after starting to work (and later live) in the area four years ago and it’s fantastic. Lovely people and delightful food. Best hummus I’ve had in the states. The falafel and shawarma are on point, too, with great spices, sauces, and vegetables in each dish.

The food and service were fantastic! The falafel were perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. By far the best falafel I have had at a restaurant. Being Egyptian born, I compare everything to my mom's cooking and in fry and prep these were better. My mom's just had a bit more spice but stillsuper yummy. Obviously made with fava bean and Garbanzo s which is just right! Everything was great! I wish I lived closer. I will certainly be back.😁👍

Stopped here for Breakfast. The Shashouka casserole was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the cup of Egyptian coffee.
Can’t wait to come back for lunch and try the Falafel Waffle - a dish that Guy Fieri sampled on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives.

Went in on lunch today and pretty pleasantly surprised. Place near me that I used to frequent has been going down hill, so I wanted to try something new and a few FB videos and all the positive reviews lead me to stop in.
Menu is pretty small and concise as they cook out of a food truck (cafe + cash register is inside). Guy inside was really nice and ran the order out to the truck and brought my to-go plate back inside.
Food overall was a bit expensive, but the portion size was great. Got the Kofta, which was loaded with meat, veggies, & sauce. Only personal complaint is that there was a very strong herb somewhere mixed in that I wasn't the biggest fan of, but did finish the wrap if that tells you anything.
Got a side a fries and they were seasoned, if not a bit under salted for my taste.
Last got a piece of Baklava, which was $2/piece and about the size of something you'd see at a fancy chocolate shop. Wasn't sure about the price at first but this stuff was amazing! Not overly sweet or chewy, and just plain ole good.
Might be a while before I'm back as it was a bit of a drive from work, but definitely a place I would want to visit again.

King Tut’s exceeded all our expectations. We had been following their page on Instagram for months and finally made the trip to try Egyptian food for the first time.
We arrived for breakfast and we had some incredible Egyptian Coffee. We learned about the traditional way of preparing with heated sand on a flattop which was so cool to watch.
The main event was the Shakshuka! We ordered both the burrito and casserole with pita. Delicious isn’t even the word. We both devoured the dishes with smiles the whole time. We also tried the Moroccan merguez. So yummy!
Before we left, we had to grab a couple cups of coffee to go and two pieces of Baklava.
We are already planning to come back tomorrow for lunch! If you want to try amazing food prepared by the nicest people, add King Tut’s to your list.

Delicious, delightful. I had the royal to try a bit of everything and each thing was popping with flavor in their own ways. It was well sauced with a cream and tahini. The Falafel was crunchy and moist and so full of flavor.
I loved eating outside, enjoying a nice breath and the wonderful atmosphere.
The owner was kind and offered great suggestions.
Apparently they'll do donuts and tea soon for brunch and I'm delighted to go back to try.

I also ordered the mint lemonade which is one of the best drinks I've had. The owner is super nice and everyone should eat here! I'll definitely be back!
