This restaurant is a gem in Nashville! The food is authentically Egyptian and delicious. All the employees are so kind and welcoming. I eat here at least once a week and highly recommend

We recently returned from Egypt and missed the crazy good food. Fortunately, King Tut's filled the hankering on so many levels. Really cool people serving excellent food. I have the impression that a menu is not needed - just ask for your favorites! We ordered a "sampler' plate for two. Yes, it was as tasty as it looks! The unique, eclectic environment made us reminisce about our fantastic trip on the Nile.

The Falafel Rice Plate was delicious—so flavorful, with perfectly seasoned falafel over rice with tahini, feta, and salad! The portions and prices are on point, and the service is friendly! If you like Egyptian Fare, you've gotta check out King Tut’s Food Truck and chill on the patio! You won't be disappointed!

I had been here once before and thought it was okay so I gave it a second try. This time was not good. It is very pricey for what it is. The food took a very long time and I thought it would be ok since it’s made fresh. But my food was not good. The chicken was over seasoned and very strong. The portion was not huge and the side of hummus we paid $7 was very small and covered in olive oil which is all I tasted. Disappointed and sadly will not be going back.

We almost didn't stop when we saw the little spot where King Tut's is located, but I'm so glad we did. At first glance, it's a little questionable. Up close, it's adorable. We sat on the porch, and it was very comfy and pleasant. Service was great, and the food rocked my socks off. Fresh, beautiful, and so, so delicious. If we were locals, this would be a regular spot for us.
