The portions were small I mean styrofoam trays are already little I got the peach cobbler it was the worst I ever had and it was baked in a really thin pan it was really watery cobbler should be thick and sweet with a lil crust sweet potatoes was 4 out of 10 overall the plate was a 5 out of 10

This place is amazing!! The entire staff was so friendly. Miss Earnestine was such a blessing. My wife and I were visiting from out of town and wanted the best soul food in Nashville and it was. Everything we had was over the top! Especially the sweet potatoes. I had the smothered pork chop, sweet potatoes and cabbage and my wife had meatloaf, Mac n cheese, and green beans. The cheese cake and peach cobbler was delicious! We will be back again! We highly recommend!

Me and my husband visited Nashville earlier this week. Beautiful establishment, great customer service, GOOD food and the list can go on. I had pantrout with lima beans and Mac & chz. My husband had the meatloaf on a bed of mashed potatoes, greens and yams. It was a treat, especially without the pork seasoning. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Walk through cafeteria type service. Everyone was welcoming and polite. Atmosphere was homey and pleasant. Price was about average. Food was absolutely amazing. Had different choices so the whole family could be happy and, by far, the best Mac and cheese I've EVER had at a restaurant! It was around 2 when we stopped so right after the lunch rush and the tables were clean the floor was clean. Bathrooms could use she work but all in all the place was a hit with us!

Greens and Green Beans ARE WAYYYY TOO SALTY. Like....are they letting a 6 year old play with the salt shaker over the food or WHAT !! ?.... SMH. A waste of money and time. By the way.. this happened BOTH times I've had food at this restaurant (about a month apart.)

Got baked chicken, mac and cheese, and cabbage, it was so fire!! Their baked chicken is sooo juicy, the mac and cheese was so cheesy, and the corn bread had the perfect balance of sweetness. Came in at a off time of 3-4 pm and the food was still hot and delicious. There is plenty of seating, huge parking lot, and someone even came up to make sure I was happy with my food and chat for a minute. I love this place, and it needs more attention! Check them out!
