It's a small place and we had a long wait for brunch. We went across the street to Southern grist to wait it out. We loved the upon. It was like a Japanese carbonara. The egg salad took me back to 7/11 in Japan. We also enjoyed the tartare and katsu sando.
My wife and I have come several times. We used to order the same thing but the last three weekends we have made a point to come and try new items each time. We have finally made it through the whole menu except for the chirashi bowl. It’s definitely a place where you should come with a friend or two to share a few different items just to try as much as possible. If I could recommend my favs it would be: Onigiri(the snow crab is our favorite) then the egg salad sando, chicken...
My husband and I tried Kisser a few weekends ago and it was amazing from start to finish. It tasted like I was eating lunch at my dad's house in Okinawa, which is the highest compliment I can pay. The food is thoughtful and balanced and you can tell there's a lot of love in there as well. I can't wait to go back!
