Koi Japanese Buffet

I love this place. I always come with my friends and niece and we all love it. Sushi is good, hibachi is good, & everything else. Definitely recommend.

Everything is always delicious and fresh. Best food in Nashville. I eat at Koi every time I visit NASHVILLE. I would move here just to eat this food all of the time!!!!!!

You get what you pay for. The prices are cheap, but the food is not that good. There is a very limited selection of food (especially dessert) but the staff is 5 star.

Good for what it is. Can't pay $13 then expect a fine dining experience. About 20 sushi options which is a lot for a buffet, not bad hibachi, and ice cream with toppings which was a nice surprise. Would be back. Wish they'd remove that lavender/cleaning smell from the restaurant though. I'd rather smell food.

My family loves this place. The food is always good. We drive about an hour just to go there. We have been going for about 4 or 5 years now, and never a bad time.

I was in town dropping my Mom at the airport so decided to have lunch with a friend that I hadn't seen in over 15 years. I drove by a couple of times while looking around and waiting for him to get a lunch break. The parking lot seemed pretty full, which is usually a good sign, and my friend said he ate there a lot. I love sushi so I figured between the cars and his recommendation, it must be good. I don't know if he's ever had really good sushi, but this IS NOT it!! I also found that the cars in the parking lot were not customers cars because there were three tables eating when we went in. The interior of the restaurant is large, dirty and shabby looking. It looks like only part of it is used and the back area near the bathrooms is dingy with broken tiles and stuff that looks like it's stored or in disrepair. The buffet area is huge with 3-4 long food tables. The sushi was cold and rubbery, like it had been made hours before and refrigerated instead of being made fresh as needed. This includes the deep fried rolls. Most of the rolls were made with the cheap imitation crab stick with very little quality fish like tuna, salmon or shrimp. The rest of the food was standard Chinese and American stuff you find on buffets. Not even good Chinese. The best part of my lunch was seeing my friend. I wouldn't eat here again. I'm looking forward to treating him to GOOD sushi when he comes to Chattanooga!

OH THIS PLACE IS AWESOME.... ALL OF IT IS SOOOOO GOOD..YOU GOTTA TRY IT ATLEAST ONCE TO SEE IF HOW YOU LIKE IT..SO MUCH FOOD NO WAY CAN YOU EAT EVERYTHING ON THE BUFFETS... I EAT A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING SO I CAN TASTE MOST OF IT..NEVER HAVE ROOM FOR THE SALAD BAR OR THE DESSERTS... ?????

Food was really good with a nice variety. Sushi buffet had some unique items that were very good as well. Friendly wait staff and roomy parking lot. The building was. Lean but a little dated.

Better than expected. All you can eat chinese, sushi and Hibachi. Tried octopus for my first time and it was not bad ?

It was good value for the good. Good sushi selection. They have a make your own stir fry area and it was good, great selection. They should (maybe they do and I missed it) have the sauces available listed so that you don’t have ask them cook. The dessert was a little lacking, but I still found something, do not terrible.

everything was absolutely delicious I agree this is a five-star restaurant my name is Claudia and I visit this restaurant very often not only is the food good but the people that work there are so loving and kind it makes you just want to come back for more and more

I use to love this place despite the ambiance. It is not gone down in quality and basic hygiene. Not one single employee (cleaning or serving) where's food prep gloves and utensils are not replaced. Ive been going for nearly 5 years. I will never be back.
