I noticed something about one of the Kroger store clerks in particular, at this location.
I am leaving this message at 11:08AM July 7, 2024 having made my purchase and just left the store at 10:43AM.
I was in the store before this morning, an early day of last week. As I had just checked out in one of the self checkout units, I got my bags and was headed out the store. All of a sudden almost out of nowhere this clerk, older female, walked close enough near me, in the same direction that we could have collided. That didn’t happen but was too close for comfort.
The issue and irony of this is that while I was there just this morning, the exact same thing occurred, in the exact same way, with each party walking in the exact same direction/s. However, she stopped well ahead of time for this other customer, exchanged some pleasantries with him, let him pass by and Theeen she proceeded to walk forward to do what she was doing.
So from a business and customer perspective she obviously knows protocol. Which only ledads me to believe that she made a personal choice to handle it the way she did when I was in-store. This is how collisions, altercations and such happen. It surely even seemed to me that she may have even timed it when I was in-store, for it to happen that way, for whatever her reason could have been. Who really knows. But for the mere fact that this morning with another customer she made the choice to stop well ahead of time and let them pass by is Evidence enough for me that there was some kind of personal motivation going on within her in my case.
However, hopefully management or someone will make her aware of this if for some reason she isn’t, to govern herself appropriately from a business/customer service manner at work. And hopefully out and about away from the workplace and in public, the appropriate behavior would carry over.
Sincerely,
The staff were polite. But I had to go upstairs (I'm disabled and can't dovthe stairs) to the pharmacy to get a nail file, then back downstairs to pay for it.. Good thing I'm an honest person! Not the usual Kroeger...
Came for a grocery pickup pulled up and was told that they hadn't even started on my order yet, I sat in the parking lot for an hour and 20 minutes before my groceries were brought out to me and when they were they just told me they were flat out of seven items I had ordered, instead of the usual replacement they just told me "we don't have it is that okay?" After a total of an HOUR AND 45 MINUTES I was offered $5 off my next trip, serious go to any other grocery store besides this big chain with horrible management and little to no staff
This Kroger is always clean and well staffed, I had some issues and questions tonight and the employee Elijah that assisted us was INCREDIBLY helpful give that man a raise immediately
Front elevator to 2nd floor is temporarily closed. If you are disabled beware. There is no warning at the front of the store. I've had to transfer my prescriptions to a different Kroger as I can't maneuver steps. ♿
Why is the pharmacy lady so rude? For what reason? I was polite and was just checking on my prescriptions and she acted like it was a hassle. That is your job? What is difficult about that? Why are you working in the pharmacy when you don’t want to help or talk to people? Odd.
This was my first visit to this particular Krogers in Green Hills, and I want to say that the staff was very cordial. They were helpful in aiding me to find what I needed.????
They had exactly what I needed.
I have been coming here for several years, and I feel in the last year or so they've been less and less well stocked, both in keeping items on the shelves and in the range of items available at all. Each time I go I feel there are one or two more items either no longer available at all or out of stock. Especially I have celiac and this Kroger has been reducing the amount of gluten free items stocked so I have to go elsewhere. I usually now go to the Kroger on Abbott Martin, and to Trader Joe's. Both of those have a better range of items, especially gluten free items.
Disgusting, ticks on the peppers. Bad customer service. They have not even given me a refund for the peppers.

It’s 1pm and there are ZERO employees to help checkout customers.
I know PROFITS are the most important thing at this time. But my brothers in Christ the customer experience is terrible.
Nice store. Lots of stock and sales
Each time I come to Kroger's, the store is organized, staff are helpful and kind w one exception. More often then not the cashier's are young people w a big attitude. Never say please or thank you. Never apologize when the drop your food on the floor and overall give the feeling that you as the customer are a burden to them. I have brought this up to management, and their was an improvement for awhile, but they are back! I work hard for my money and to be treated poorly when I'm giving my money to them is no longer an option. I will drive the few extra miles to Publix where I'm treated appropriately.
Interesting two-story small and convenient grocery!
BE CAREFUL BUYING PRODUCE HERE. I bought some of the cut up watermelon that looked good but one bite in and it was sour and bad. Not just from being out all day but several days bad. There’s more bad than good reviews for a reason. I wish I had checked before wasting my time and money
