I always find what I want and more at Kroger's on 61 East Thompson Lane self-checkout is much better since last time. I can't give away all my money saving tips but there are lots of saving in the store.?

Decent store. The older gentleman at self checkout was kind, but customer service needed to be opened earlier for customers.

Low stocked. Had to request a clerk to check me out. Large orders are difficult for seniors.

Clean and organized store with a wide selection of grocery items. The pharmacy was only a few short aisles, but still found what was needed. Checkout was quick and easy.

It's a Kroger all right! The selection you would expect (when the shelves are stocked) at the price you would expect.

If you're coming for gas, though, make sure to check the prices at the 2 gas stations on Glenrose and East Thompson FIRST. This morning one of them was 7 cents cheaper per gallon and the other one was 10 cents cheaper per gallon.

Only one line open besides self-checkout

I recommend driving a bit further to a different store. Shelves are constantly under-stocked, produce is often starting to rot, even the eggs will sometimes smell off well before their expiration.

This review is for Nathan in produce that was working 3/24 at 4:00pm! This store is usually out of a lot of stuff we buy because it is so busy. We really needed cilantro. The first guy we asked that was stocking produce said he isn't sure if there was any more. I had a feeling to ask nathan before we left and went to a different store. He stopped what he was doing, looked me in the eyes and said " you want organic right, stay right here, I'll be right back!" And walked straight to the back got it within one minute and held the box while i picked my bunches out. He was so kind and sweet and honestly SOOO helpful! This guy needs a raise!!! Probably the most helpful employee I have encountered there. REALLY efficient. Thank you so much Nathan!!!

Love that Kroger gives you a three cent discount at the pump.

I've been shopping at Kroger for over 30 years. I love Kroger. This particular one has a terrible check-out process, no matter your preference. Unless you roll thru at 7 a.m. checking out here is going to suck. Also, they sell out of everything good here fast. They always seem to be out of the things I want the most. It's borderline comical.

The few staff working 4/5/24 at 8pm (including the manager) were very unprofessional. The elf checkout person had to count out 26$ three times and the money was all over the place, the manager was off in the back and came to help a costumer and was very rude, lied about a service, and laughed off the customers complaint, and the cashier I used was very rude to her coworker(grocery bagger) to the point I wanted to tell her manager but couldn't bc he was so unprofessional. The produce which a costumer reported as bad and damaged the manager just told them to put it in another bag which made no sense...

These are all newer hires bc I shop here every week and have never seen them and let me say I won't be shopping there again. Mrs. Stacy is the bet and she is usually working the checkout on the weekend. Anyways I'm not shopping here until this new staff is fired and the old staff is back.

They only had self-checkout lines available. That's embarrassing, fully staff your store

The people are friendly however pricing went up during the pandemic and even though that's over and supply chain issues are no longer an issue they have not lowered their prices and in many cases have increased them in the past three months on several items. And those items are Kroger brand let alone name brands doing the same.

I would buy a lot more products if I didn't have to go through the self check out that is always not working right and so slow. I've been coming to Krogers since the 1970's.Now i'll go to another store that gives better service. You certainly are losing. Business. Remember this.

For Real

I know prices for groceries are high everywhere but Kroger is getting ridiculous! Compared to other grocery stores they aren't just a little higher but substantial higher. That little gas point per dollar isn't going to be enough to keep customers when they are literally charging a dollar, two dollars, and in some cases double the price for the same product as their competitors. All I can say is good luck gouging people with apparently more money than sense, I'm shopping somewhere else!
