I don't know how this place have 4 stars!! 1st they don’t give free water to their dine in guest ( u have to buy it by the bottle). The empanadas the chicken was dry, the beed one was with no flavor whatsoever. Then, a large speaker fell the of the wall right above where i was standing 5 mins b4 that happen. Still i am in shock bout the no ice water for guest. LoLThe rice was a little rubbery like stail or semi old. The beans were watery and needed more sesoning, the meat for the main entries, ropa vieja and carne de res was ok. Also no refilable drinks, all is bottled. No ice water? Also they also have mexican dishes on the walls and menu but non of it was available. That i would come back, NO. I wonder if they even have bussines insurance!!!

After passing by this place for years, I finally decided to check this place out. This review is based on my takeout order. When I got there, there were 4 people sitting inside, but the restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating. I called in my order, and the lady who answered the phone had to get another guy to help me assuming because she didn't speak much English. That guy didn't understand what I was trying to order either, but luckily my boyfriend speaks Spanish and was able to order for us both. Food: 4/5, very filling, but you could tell the ingredients they used wasn't fresh. I really liked my plate, but my boyfriend who grew up in mangu could tell the difference. Value: 5/5, you get large portions at an affordable price I would definitely recommend this place and will be back for my mangu fix!

Good dominican food. Great service and the place was clean. One thing I would recommend is to play music to make it a more enjoyable experience.

The food was cold. I ordered Chicharron de Pollo, and it was fried chicken backs chopped up. The chicken was black and looked like it was fried in dirty oil. There were only pieces of bones. It should be against the law to sell the poor quality of food I received. The stew beef guisado had no taste, no herbs, or flavor. This restaurant does not have the right to represent Dominican food.

I recently moved from little DR (the bronx) and have been having alot of problems finding cood dominican food & unfortunately this placed failed. Dont get me wrong the customer service was amazing very nice people but the food on another hand was not. I ordered two platters one chicharon de pollo, the other biste guisado and 4 pastelitos 1chesse 3chicken to go. I only received 2/4 pastelitos and they had no flavor wht so ever felt like the just put the meat in there with no seasonings. The rice was kinda old, the beans were more watered down than the usual and the meat was very minimal felt like it was for a kid. The only thing that had flavor was the chícharos de pollo other than that everythung else i could if went without. Hopefully i find that Dominican food in looking for one day.
