The Little Gourmand is an absolute gem in Nashville! From the moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve stepped into a cozy café in France. The pastries are incredible—flaky, buttery, and so fresh. I tried the croissant pizza and the macaroons, and both were perfection. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is adorable. Whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or staying for coffee, this place is a must-visit!

Come here to get ripped off, but stay for the sweetheart owner and her customer service. Her response for me asking to get a transaction fixed, when they didn't even prepare my order:
come here today.
That being said, the same answer applies :
Thank you for sharing your side of the story- let me share mine here. The woman who ordered paid upfront and prices were on the screen in front of her, so no surprise. The pastry was in the oven and the espresso done when you decided to be a Karen, told her she shouldn’t have bought that and acted as the most arrogant person we’ve seen for a long time, demanding that we refunded the whole ticket! We do not do refund on food that has been ordered and prepared, unless we have made a mistake, of course, that’s our policy.
Customers like you are a plague for small businesses. Please never come back and shop with big corporations who can afford losing money with you. Starbucks espresso costs 25 cents less than our “overpriced” one but I can guarantee our margins can’t compare. You can probably get away with free stuff acting like this in some places. I’m sorry it doesn’t work with me. Lesson learned though, I should never have refunded anything at all. I will always stand behind my staff when they have to deal with someone who thinks they are entitled to everything.
P.S : the 10’ wait was for you to get the proof for the refund which you also demanded. Refunding had to be processed by Square. We didn’t play hardball for that long thankfully!

It only took me 8 years to visit Little Gourmand but I was really impressed by the selection of French groceries available. Got me some escargots and a baguette from Paris and a few other treats like crème de marrons á la vanille. I’m going to have a French Easter. I guess you can take the girl from Belgium but not Belgium from the girl and sometimes I got to have the food I grew up with.
I love love love this place! They have such a cute space one the inside and out! They have an amazing shop with a variety of French foods, from sweet to savory, from snacks to ingredients. And the bakery aspect is amazing. All of their baked goods are fantastic, like all of them, I got about 25 different items! I also got their sandwiches, which were amazing! Like so so good, the meat, cheese, and bread are top quality. And lastly the employees were go sweet, they checked on us multiple times and genuinely cared to make sure you understand all the different baked goods and know what you want and how to store it once bought. Also the owner is super sweet! He was lovely! Would recommend others to come try their food and baked goods!

This location has more of a french market with less pastries, while the other location in Berry Hill is more pastry focused. Probably the best french market in Nashville hands down with very helpful and cheery employees. You can get real french butter here, which in my opinion is the best butter in the world along with items like foie gras.
