After a long time, I had one of the best cold sandwiches here and it really stood out. The ingredients tasted super fresh, and everything was put together with a lot of care. The flavors were balanced and it didn’t feel heavy, just really satisfying. You can tell they pay attention to quality, which makes a big difference. The food overall felt fresh and well-prepared, and it’s definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving something simple but really good.

The meatball and chicken parm sandwiches are the best in town. I just wish they sold half chicken parm sandwiches.

This is a review for the newly opened Franklin (Cool Springs) location. I have to say that I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of the Cool Springs location for months now and was so excited to get to try it last night, but the experience was a bit of a let down after all those months of waiting. First, I was a little surprised at how expensive it ended up being to feed my family of three here; it was $105 for the three of us for dinner plus 2 desserts. I overall enjoyed my dinner, which was the Italian Wedding Soup and fried ravioli, but I did find the soup a touch too salty. Unfortunately, my husband and son were both disappointed by their meals. My son ordered "The Meats" pizza, which the menu did indicate had ricotta cheese. However, when he received his pizza, it had large blobs of very sweet ricotta cheese on it. He had me try it because he was confused about why the ricotta was sweet. When I tried it, the ricotta was in fact extremely sweet. We honestly wondered if the kitchen staff accidentally mixed up regular ricotta cheese with sweetened ricotta cheese that they would use for desserts. It was definitely off-putting to have the very sweet ricotta on a meat pizza. My son scrapped off the ricotta and ate around any residue that it left on the pizza. My husband ordered the turkey and cheese sandwich. First off, this is a huge sandwich so if you have a big appetite, you will be pleased. However, it was absolutely coated in sauce. My husband had difficulty eating it because it had so much sauce. All of the condiments slid out of the sandwich because of the sauce and within in a couple of minutes the bread was completely turning into mush and disintegrating from the sauce. It was like every surface, even in between the slices of turkey, was covered in an abundant amount of sauce. My husband ate about half and then was over the mess that was this sandwich and gave up eating anymore. We contemplated complaining, but the place was absolutely packed with the line going back to the door and my husband and son did not feel like waiting in line again and then waiting for a new order of food to come out (took a while the first go around) so we did not say anything. I wouldn't have minded paying $105 for our dinner if we had been blown away by the food, but I left feeling disappointed that we paid that much for dinner only to have 2 out of 3 of us disappointed with our meals. Hopefully, the sweet ricotta and excessive amount of sauce is just growing pains of a new kitchen staff and they will get things worked out as they gain experience. I have not written off Little Hats, but I will probably give them a few months to work out the kinks in the kitchen before I try it again.
I have no words for how good my sandwich was

Two days in a row at Little Hats Market
Little hats market is so good, we went two days in a row! On the first day, we tried the rigatoni- it was rich, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. The next day we sat at the bar for a round of drinks and indulged in the Chicago-style beef, which was a perfect balance of hearty and delicious. The cozy NYC vibe and friendly service made both visits perfect. Can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu!
