Seriously some of the best food we had on our trip! We had brunch on the patio and the ambience, service, and drinks were all top notch. side note- the potatoes were to die for! Will be back.
Breakfast here never disappoints! The gumbo is amazing as are the biscuits! Our server, Tony, was excellent and accommodated our need to eat and run expertly!
Food came out fast, but the service was slow. My hubby and I ordered 4 sharing plates, and our drinks (prosecco, so nothing complicated to make) only arrived when we had one plate left. The waitress was friendly enough but not attentive at all. Our mussels were cold, the oysters were really small , shrimp toast was oily, the crabcake and the smoked fish dip was tasty. We felt that the food was slightly overpriced and the service was frustrating. We won't be going back.
Went there for our wedding anniversary and had an amazing time. We shared a bunch of small plate and found that filled us up! They were kind enough to also give us a free dessert for our anniversary!
We had an absolutely excellent experience at Marsh House. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Our server, Beck, was incredible, just very attentive, warm, and gave us fantastic service that really elevated the whole evening. The food was phenomenal, especially the shrimp toast, which is a must-try. What surprised us most was the value. The prices are so reasonable for the quality you receive, and we honestly didn't realize what a good deal it is until we dined here. Even though we didn't spend a lot of money, we felt like we were treated with the same level of care as any high-end guest. That really stood out and made the night feel special. We left blown away by the whole experience and especially appreciative of Beck for making it so memorable. We'll definitely be back!
Excellent happy hour specials. We had the oysters and Brussels sprouts and both were amazing. I tried the smoked melon marg which was also great.
Very limited menu. There were only four fish dishes on the menu. Many items were spicy. The adult beverages were great
Really a great place to eat in Nashville. Service was great and the food appreciated by everyone in our 7 people party. Definitely recommend for a nice outing.
My wife and I both had the Halibut and it was delicious. Perfectly prepared. The squash side was so unique and unexpected. It too was delicious. Our server was spot on, professional and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a second visit.
Nice restaurant with some usual and some unique offerings. Enjoyed the smoked fish dip. Housemate crackers were incredible. Whole branzino with chimichurri was very good. Halibut was a good and cooked expertly, but maybe bland but portion was generous and salad was tasty.

The food was great, the service was attentive but not obtrusive. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The food came quickly and they even gave us a free cinnamon role for my wife's birthday.
The portions are tiny for what the price level is so was a little disappointing there. I've been going to Marsh house for 3 years now, they changed the salmon tartar — also huge disappointment. Paid $300+tip and left hungry.
our favorites were the smoked fish dip and salmon tartare we still enjoyed our other dishes: shrimp and grits and oysters
Wait staff excellent. Salmon and steak were perfectly prepared. Ice cream and sorbet perfect ending.
Omg this is the BEST omelette in Nashville! And believe me I’ve tried them all.
I’m a total brekky person always looking for new places to try and today I was tired of all the other places I’ve been with the same old avocado toast and poached eggs … or the southern places which never have an espresso machine.
So I searched… and searched…. A loooot. And it so paid off!!! Lucky I found them! Because they’re listed under seafood restaurant haha which I don’t even eat. But I saw breakfast on the menu and off we went. And we had the most perfect meal!
I had the veggie omelette with spinach peppers and onions and with feta cheese and a wheat toast (so happy they provide that option for those who need it), and my husband had the ham omelette with the yummy potatoes and we also had drinks and their famous biscuit which is to die for! It comes with a house made jam that is so fresh and delicious!
That’s it, I don’t need to look no more, from now on everytime I want eggs for breakfast we’re going thereeee!
And one more thing to add - I am diabetic so it’s always hard to find drinks that are sugar free around Nashville, especially mocktails (and that needs to change btw but that’s a review to all the bars and restaurants as a whole haha) but anyhow - this place made it great with a virgin and skinny mojito that was refreshing and lovely!
Now we’ll have to try their dinner menu too, I hope it’s just as good! 🤩
