Marsh House always delivers and I always look forward to dining there. We were seated promptly, and our server was very efficient and friendly. As we always do, we started our brunch with a biscuit order and the cinnamon roll for the table to share, and as always, they were delicious! We all went the breakfast route and we very much enjoyed our omelets and eggs. Another fantastic meal at Marsh House.

Blown away is an understatement. I arrived expecting an average Nashville dinner, I left having had one of the best dinners I may have ever had. Can not recommend this place enough! We are already planning our next dinner and are bringing friends and family this time!

This was our first time and we loved it. Brunch was fantastic. The cinnamon roll is perfect. The crew loved the creole omelette, chicken and waffle, and several variations of the typical breakfast plate.
The Marsh House is located inside the Thompson Hotel in the Gulch district. My wife and I decided to eat at this restaurant as we had $200 food and beverage credit from the hotel. The restaurant is inviting, has nice décor and the lighting was not too dark or light, overall good vibe. We started with the oysters, which were disappointing as it seems the restaurant picked the smallest oysters they could find. I am familiar with the types of oysters we ordered, so the type was not the reason for the size. From there, we ordered our entrees. My wife ordered the halibut, and I ordered the salmon. The fish was cooked perfectly with nice crisp skin and presented nicely. Overall, the food was excellent, but the service was lacking, and our server seemed to disappear for extended periods of time. The restaurant was not busy, so there was no reason for his absence. There were two occasions where others had to bring our food. We did have a chance to try a cocktail at the Marsh House the prior night. We sat in the bar area, and the bar tender was very attentive even though the entire bar area was full. We tried two different cocktails, and both were made well and had excellent taste. Overall, I would say if you were looking for dinner or a cocktail in the area, the Marsh House is worth a visit.

We had the 4 course Price Fixe on Christmas Day. 1st course very small but tasty. 2nd course was soup/gumbo and hearty and good. Main course excellent. Dessert was bad. Place was busy and would get pretty loud at times. Overall 4.5 stars. -.5 for the bad dessert. Service was very good.

Everything was fantastic from the server who helped me along with my indecisiveness to the wine list which was delightfully well-priced and contained a vast array of bottles I haven't seen anywhere else in Nashville. Overall, highly recommend!
