Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint is a popular spot for barbecue lovers. The restaurant's sauces, including the Alabama White Sauce and The Devils Nectar, are a highlight, and the meats are perfectly smoked to tenderness. The menu offers options like brisket sandwiches, pulled pork shoulder, and ribs, with sides such as mac and cheese and green beans. The rustic, country-themed decor and background music create a cozy atmosphere with plenty of seating inside and outside. Customers can order their food and then sit down, with staff bringing out the meals. The barbecue is consistently high quality, with tender, flavorful meats. The ribs, available in dry rub and wet styles, are especially noted for being soft and falling off the bone. The jalapeno cheddar sausage is also a popular choice, praised for its great flavor balance. The desserts, like Martha Ann's Fudge Pie and Nadine's Pecan Pie, are excellent. The restaurant can get busy, but the food and atmosphere make it worth the visit. Visitors often enjoy the flavorful barbecue, fast service, and friendly staff, including helpful suggestions from team members. Overall, Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint remains one of the top barbecue spots in Nashville, known for its outstanding mac and cheese and hush puppies as well.
