Self service. We order and then sit down. They bring out the ribs. We tried one dry rub and one wet. Both were delicious and very soft. Falling off the bone. We also had the nachos with everything on it.

Overall we were pleased with our meal.

We got the ribs - half dry, half wet - and the jalapeno cheddar sausage as mains. The dry rub ribs weren't very good, but the sauced ones were. They also gave us a few more ribs than we ordered. The sausage was great - nice ratio of the jalapenos and cheddar within each link.

As far as the sides go, the mac n cheese was outstanding. The hush puppies were good too; they're a great addition to...

If you want authentic Nashville barbecue, Martin’s is the place to go. A friend of mine who was born and raised here recommended it, and I’m glad we went. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful, and my husband said the ribs alone were worth the trip. The food is definitely heavy, so just be aware, and while I thought the sides were only okay, the barbecue itself is absolutely legendary.
