Asked the front desk at the hotel what time the restaurant opens and was told 3:00. Got there at 3:15, doors were unlocked. I walked in, so did another couple and employees were standing in a circle having a conversation. They told us we could have drinks, but nobody would be there to take food orders until after 4:00. We couldn't wait that long, so left and said we would come back later. Went back in the evening and asked to place a to go order. After 45 minutes we asked how much longer it might be to another staff member walking by. She disappeared to go find the bartender/waitress. After 10 more minutes she came out with our chicken strips and fries. Of course by this point the food was already cold. No telling how long it had sat back there. We were completely forgotten. It doesn't take an hour for deep fried chicken strips and fries. Overall a bad experience. The food was decent, but the staff will sink this place!

We arrived at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel after a long trip from England to celebrate a family members 60th birthday in Nashville , on checking in on a Sunday evening we were told that the breakfast we’d booked was not served on a Monday and Tuesday, this hotel is situated a couple of miles from the centre of Nashville on a busy highway so the only places to get breakfast nearby were a couple of fast food outlets and a gas station across the busy road. The following day we took advantage of the pool, the temperature was 104c and then we found out the bar was closed on Mondays and Tuesday also so no drinks available, the coffee machine in the lobby had run out of milk and no replacements were available. Our rooms were not cleaned or towels changed for the whole of our stay, in the end we had to go to reception to get clean towels. The shuttle service into Nashville was hit and miss, the van was so filthy you didn’t want to sit on the seats, one night it just didn’t turn up for us and as it was getting quite dangerous because it was so late we had the added expense of a taxi back at $30. Since our return I’ve had a charge to my credit card of $70+ goodness knows what for, I’d like an explanation as to why this hotel is still allowed to take guests when they offer such bad service. I would definitely not recommend this place.

I have traveled the world and I can officially say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Even basic necessities had to be asked for, like towels and soap. I think everything is stained: the ceilings, chairs, carpets. I have stayed in beautiful 200 year old hotels, but this place obviously has an owner that has not put a penny into this place for many, many years. It reeks of neglect and indifference. I would have checked out immediately if I was not here for a conference. I did however checkout immediately once I started getting bug bites on my lower legs only to discover small bugs in my bed. The hotel claims they are not bedbugs. I will let the Tennessee Health Dept decide for themselves.

This hotel needs a total refurbish. The carpet in the lobby was stained. The rooms were nice but small. Seemed clean but old. Had issues with towels, didn’t have any in the room and when I asked they were short on clean ones. We wound up with a pool towel. The shower was horrible, toilet barely flushed. I would not stay here again.

The staff were wonderful. Unfortunately, they had be very little to work with. Old, old hotel. Shortage of towels and housekeeping staff. Bar and restaurant rarely open. Outlets in room not working, room not cleaned sufficiently. Not a luxury hotel. Not even a 2 star hotel.

the staff was great. Very friendly and the pool, perfect. Is it the nicest hotel in Nashville? No, but for the price I would stay again. It is close to some great restaurants away from downtown. However, it is easy to get downtown

They charged my card twice and wouldn't correct it until I left but my money til this day month later hasn't been refunded yet. Im filing with the district attorney. It was 10 other people complaining about the same thing.

I am not a complainer normally however, this was by far the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. In fact, we were having a conference there and it was the talk of the conference. Several people pulled in the parking lot and pulled right back out. Some people actually checked in and then left. I actually spent one night and then fled to another hotel. The people who set up the conference said they were completely embarrassed about it and hoped that the attendees did not hold it against them. The parking lot at arrival had super sketchy people roaming at the road with not enough lighting. I am almost certain the lady I saw the next morning getting coffee, who appeared to be on drugs was a hooker. I saw her roaming through the parking lot, looking through people’s cars and the windows of the hotel and trying doors. The check-in was fine. When I came off the elevator for my floor, I was hit with a wave off hot air and huge/noisy blowers to which I found out later were due to a fire more than a month ago upstairs. The doors to the rooms as I walked the hall were delaminating and just overall poor maintenance. The final straw- when I tried to go to sleep I could smell urine. I pulled the covers back to find what appeared to be huge urine stains and blood stains. Even though I had a conference at the hotel and they were paying for my hotel, I checked out and went around the corner. I had to pay $180 out of my own pocket, but it was worth every penny. This hotel needs a complete renovation.

My wife and I stayed the night over a weekend. The rooms are not the most up to date but we had no problem with the overall cleanliness. Things turned south however when we woke up and our car windows were broken. We asked them to have security come out and contact the police. There response was very dismissive and let us know they didn't have security on site for the day so we were on our own. We have asked for camera footage about 5 times at this point and they wont even respond to our request. The police officer (didn't say but said without saying) that were not the first in this lot. Seems they may have an issue but aren't to concerned as far as I can tell. We won't ever go back due to their lack of concern or response for a simple request.

Reception area and people are lovely and friendly. There is a free shuttle to downtown which helped so much as there is NO free parking anywhere in Nashville. The room was neat and clean. Little coffee maker which was great. Would recommend this place to stay.
