The experience was great, whisky tasting went well with the food pairing and the food was excellent.
This burger was one of the best I've had. It offered a great happy hour value. We sat outside, but the traffic noise was a bit loud. The ambiance was great, and the drinks were excellent.
We loved the food. We shared a bunch of small plates; there were 5 of us. We loved every dish. Favorites were the salmon on crispy rice and shrimp. We also loved the little gem salad, paneer with pw pita crunch and shiahito peppers. Our waitress was great.
Great food and service. The drinks were very well prepared and they did not skimp out on the libations.
We were early and the restaurant was quiet but the waitress sat us promptly and allowed us to order off the happy hour menu and regular menu. The food was delicious and the cocktails were the best we had in Nashville. The decor and theme of the restaurant is done really offering a cozy modern feel.
We always have a great experience at T&R. The servers are friendly and welcoming and the manager, Cooper, stopped by our table to check-in on is and the ensure a great night.
My friend and I love the atmosphere. The taco like bites were our favorite and I really enjoyed the non alcoholic options
Great experience. Worth the time and money. Service was solid a the peppers appetizer was great.
We thoroughly enjoyed our night out at Thistle and Rye. The food was really good, especially those tacos with the Doritos in them! Our server was pretty nice and relatively attentive. I have a few complaints, but nothing really big. I ordered a Bulleit Rye old fashion and was told they didn't have Bulleit Rye. I find it funny that we went during a musical story telling event put on by Bullieit and the name of the restaurant is Thistle and RYE and there was no Bulleit Rye, but whatever, I just got a Bulleit bourbon old fashion. The first one had a bunch of small cubes of ice in it, which I much prefer a large single piece, but I have dealt with this before at other places. The second one I ordered came out with a large piece (yippee), but then my third was again with many small pieces (bummer!). Also my wife's third drink was supposed to be a Moscow mule like her first two, but it was some peachy bourbon drink that we had to send back. The final issue was that we ordered 5 items, one being shrimp, which never came. We kept waiting, thinking it would come out eventually, finally we just told our server that if he forgot to put it in, then to cancel it. The music was fun and entertaining, the drinks were pretty good and food was really good. After we got our last drinks, we went out to the balcony and chilled on your couches. The weather was warm and windy and it made us wish we had a place in the city. Overall, we will be back.
This is a terrific venue for a date or a family gathering. The atmosphere is seasonal and changes several times a year. The service is excellent, and our waiter was very knowledgable about the cuisine. Expect a lighter meal with unique flavors. We thought it was delicious.

Incredible food, server was great. Drinks were good, not great. Located in a hotel. Outside seating is more of a lounge than a restaurant. Would definitely go again.
We had soa y good meals this weekend. We looked forward to Thistle and Rye. But it was not to our liking. Beautiful rooftop bar. Good friend service. The food was very salty and below average.
We went for the writers song event. Amazing place, the food is delicious and the service marvelous!
Thistle & Rye was our third choice of the evening after discovering our first two options were fully booked. Having never dined there before, my friend and I decided to give it a try—and we're so glad we did. Located on the third floor of the Conrad Hotel, the restaurant immediately impressed us with its stunning interior design and sophisticated furnishings. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and warm hospitality. From our table, we enjoyed a lovely view overlooking The Gulch, with partial downtown vistas adding to the upscale atmosphere. The service was exceptional. Our server was professional, attentive, and courteous—ensuring our water glasses were always full and checking in with just the right frequency. The menu is curated with a selection of shareable plates, ideal for either an intimate dinner for two or a small group. Every dish we ordered was flavorful, well-presented, and exceeded expectations. One standout feature was the sound environment. The volume was low enough to allow for an uninterrupted, engaging conversation—something often hard to find in trendy downtown venues. Thistle & Rye is an excellent choice for intimate dinners, business lunches or dinners, or relaxed meet-ups with friends. While not geared toward traditional large entrées, it excels at offering exceptional small plates and expertly crafted cocktails in a chic, inviting setting. I look forward to returning soon
We had a wonderful time at Thistle and Rye Father's Day evening. We made reservations for 5 PM but wouldn't have needed them as it was very quiet in there. The space is so light and airy and beautiful! We were greeted promptly and got a fantastic table with a great view. We decided to order one of everything on the happy hour menu. It was all fantastic! Innovative flavors, unique twists. We all loved it, including my nine and 12 year-old. Our server Christian was so warm and personable. The happy hour menu is incredible! We can't wait to go back.
