Two out of three visits the food and service was exceptional. One evening was a big disappointment. Maybe Saturday is just too busy a time to go.

Omg so we stopped by this restaurant while we were on a weekend getaway to Nashville last year and I honestly wanted to try authentic southern food. We were not disappointed. I ordered the Buttermilk fried chicken and the collard greens were amazing!!! My boyfriend ordered the Jambalaya which he said tasted great and full of flavor. The fried green tomatoes were delicious as well. Loved the mini popcorn they gave us. Our drinks were dope AF too don't remember what they were but they were fabulous. Absolutely loved thr decor and vibes of this establishment I genuinely can not wait to go back to Nashville just to eat here again! Absolutely highly recommend this restaurant give them all of your money!

It was a great stop on our sightseeing bus tour of the city. It has a great old wood building aroma. Lots of old machinery and memorabilia from another time. The guys loved it! They enjoyed the bourbon? tasting and the ladies checked out the cute shops..

Had and reservations and received a nice set up. Food was great and not super expensive for the quality food received.

Came here on the later side, for dinner. They were out of Deviled Eggs, the thing I really wanted. Oddly, later our server was able to snag some...apparently they'd been given to the staff and she grabbed one for me. Nice gesture but a bit odd...especially in our post Covid world. My husband got the steak and it was fine. I got the Wedge salad, which was basic as can be and not very good. The presentation on both was just not good...super basic. I didn't love my cocktail and told our server, when she asked. Although I decided to keep it, she mentioned it to the manager. The rest of our time there, the staff stood around staring at us. It was strange. One of them even walked by and did a full head to toe checkout and wore a snarky expression. It was one of the more aggressive encounters I've ever had with waitstaff. Thankfully, our server was very nice and attentive. Anyway, I get what they were going for with this place, but they didn't quite achieve it. Maybe they will have more success when reopening. We will not be back.

Menu was limited, but service was great! The atmosphere was very inviting and the place was packed.

Merchants is my favorite place to eat every time I'm in Nashville. Their fried chicken is to die for and the service is fantastic. Great location right off of Broadway and fun to people watch

Merchants is temporarily closed due to a fire. Not sure when it will reopen. Open Table allowed me to make a reservation but I called and found out about the closure.
