It lived up to its reputation! Omelettes were great and when paired with the wonderful biscuits and fresh fruit were just outstanding! Server was awesome as well.

Always a wonderful leisurely meal at Midtown with attentive service. I always bring my out-of-town guests here.

The Midtown cafe is a quaint and cozy spot. The shrimp and smoked Gouda grits were amazing. We also had the florentine omelet which was very tasty.

We had breakfast there three times on a recent trip. Breakfast is great and the family loves the Pancakes!

We love this place and you will too. Tucked away amid the heavily developed Midtown Area, do not pass up this gem! Great people, great food, great service... Go and eat and enjoy.

It was my mother son date. We haven't had one in awhile. The food was good and he had fun. Thank you.

Server was great even tho it was so busy. Food is large servings, down home goodness. We only had brunch but what we had was good!

I highly recommend if you are traveling for work to pop in here and eat at the bar!! Super friendly amazing bartender Gina was fab! Food was really good and I enjoyed my meal so much! Great dessert menu too!

Great food and cute little place! Went for brunch. The grits were VERY GOOD. Only problem was they forgot our sides so we had to remind them. Slightly noisy for my parents.

Midtown Cafe continues to be one of Nashville's "hot spots" for its great food and service in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Conversations throughout the cafe are often lively, and either casual or dress attire is appropriate.

Everything was really good - food and service well-executed. Our server was hospitable and didn't make us feel rushed even though the place was packed. We will definitely go back!

Wonderful dinner of all our favorites! Lemon Artichoke soup, chicken croquets (fab!) and veal piccatta. Service is excellent and they even have French Champagne by the glass. Service is attentive.

Gluten free experience: the menu was well marked and our server was attentive to our needs. Wine(s) by the glass were reasonably priced and generously provided. Since is was late we skipped appetizers: my wife had the appetizer shrimp and grits and a half sized spinach salad, I had the blackened grouper. All were properly seasoned. The stars were the flourless desserts almond cake with vanilla custard and a chocolate crème du pot - exquisite!

A little gem in Nashville! The bar makes a perfect martini & has a good wine list. We ordered lobster bisque (delish) and scallops (very tender). Hubby loved his creme brulee. Doug is a fantastic server!
