While on a business trip, my co-workers and I stopped at Mike’s after lunch one day.
I haven’t had homemade ice cream in a very long time, so was excited to try Mike’s.
I ordered a single scoop of Coffee and Mint Chip which they combined into one scoop. It was the perfect amount as I wasn’t hungry since we just had lunch. But had been yearning to have ice cream in Nashville for some reason.
The ice cream was very creamy and had the right amount of everything in the ingredients.
It was a little busy (in the line) at 1:00pm on a Tuesday. We had for about 5-10 min.
I really enjoyed the ice cream and also liked the exposed brick and decor at Mike’s.
It’s easy to get to if you’re walking and already on Broadway. The is a Premier Parking garage nearby.
I would definitely go back to Mike’s!

The coffee (frozen cappuccino) was SO good! The service was a bit cold and the lack of music or anything in the background felt awkward.

I didn't get the ice cream but I tried a couple samples and they were pretty good. I did however get some coffee. I asked her to surprise me with something sweet and she delivered with a caramel macchiato with a added twist! The inside was nice and cozy but you walk into the bathroom and it smells and looks like you transported yourself to a bad side of town gas station bathroom. I felt dirtier coming out then I did going in.
Parking: You have to walk to get to this location. Concrete barriers have the road blocked off both ways.

Ice cream is great, as always, but the homeless! I get it's down town, but it seems this place is a magnet because the workers don't care! We walked in and had to wait for them to even give us attention to order! It was super awkward!

Visiting from England..... we chose this place for ice cream and we were not disappointed. Absolutely delicious and creamy .... we decided to try coconut flavour, and Tennessee Fudge..... loved it.

I wish I could do less than one star!! DO NOT COME HERE! When we came in it felt so dirty and no one was there. As we made our way up to the counter one of the ladies working said to the other “I think I just need to close my eyes for a little bit”. I asked for a basic chocolate malt. When I tasted the Malt instead of being full of chocolate goodness, it was was a sour strawberry and not in a good way. We decided to talk to the same woman about the Malt. Instead of being kind she starts to argue with us about how it was made just fine. We ended up just throwing it away, with no help. 10 bucks down the drain. I would highly recommend The Legendairy milkshake bar. Tasted so much better!! The staff actually enjoyed being at there job.

Chose Mike's instead of the place next door because it was pouring rain and we wanted to sit inside. Our sundaes were large and the fudge was good, but the ice cream was flavorless. I had mint white chocolate cookie and coffee and both tasted close to vanilla. The service was fine but not great- they scoop from deep buckets, rubbing their arms in the ice cream as they scoop. I saw the teen making mine wipe his arm on his clothes several times in between flavors.
Finally, Mike's was being very compassionate to allow two unhoused people inside during the rain. However, they spread out their belongings in front of the door making it so we had to step over and thru wet stuff on the way in and out.

I paid for two pints of ice cream. Tipped 20% just to find out down the street neither one was nearly full. One was probably 80% full. Not okay for the money.

Really nice little ice cream shop off the main strip in Nashville. We have come here twice since visiting the area and every time it’s always delicious. Prices are really reasonable and generous. We always come here because it consistently good! Friendly service and tons of variety to choose from.
